·               Perform on-site consulting, support and administration of multi-platform network systems including Windows 2003/2000 networks running Exchange 2003/2000.

·               Administer training classes to our in house Systems Engineers on many of Microsoft’s latest products.

Migration Engineer UCB Inc (Contract through Entre Computer Services).December 2005-March 2006.

·               Consulting support for company that was involved in a friendly takeover involving two other global companies.

·               Spearheaded project to get multiple NT 4.0 (non Active Directory), Windows 2000, and Windows 2003 Active Directory domains condensed into one Windows 2003 Active Directory Forest.

·               Used custom scripting to move over 300 existing machines to correspond to HR provided Corporate ID’s.

·               Test existing applications for problems before the migration occurred.

·               Created scripts to deal with problems involving offline files/folders, roaming profiles, and Folder Redirection.

·               Used Active Directory Migration Tool 3.0 (ADMT) to move/migrate Active Directory objects.

·               Modified IntelliMirror to work in new domain to include Group Policy based software installation and control, and user access to data.

·               Configured Access to Active/Active nodes of Microsoft Cluster Server 2003 Enterprise (MSCS provides failover and allows multiple servers to work together and act as one virtual machine).

·               Assisted in testing various applications existing in the environment utilizing a combination of “live” ghost images, software package testing, and VMware Workstation 5.5.1.

·               Key member of project team for a Windows NT4.0 to Windows 2000 with Active Directory migration.

·               Traveled around to the 12 different sites scattered throughout the US with two assistants to perform on site migrations of servers and workstations. Migrated over 20 Compaq/HP Servers from Windows NT4.0 to Windows 2000 including Domain Controllers and DNS servers. Also upgraded or replaced over 350 various legacy client systems to Windows XP.

·               Managed rollout of clients from AutoCAD R14 to AutoCAD 2002.

·               Implimented backup plans and upgraded all servers to Arcserve Brightstor 9.

·               Created Windows XP training for users.
