· Act as Director of USA IT Security in the absence of the IT Security Director. Act as Manager of the
USA IT Security Certification and Accreditation Department for the close out of the Space Shuttle
Contract.
· Developing Information Technology Security processes for the transfer of sustainable Space Shuttle
Contract data to secure data warehousing. Perform vulnerability assessments with McAfee
Vulnerability Manager (MVM), penetration testing, and Security Plans for the follow-on systems.
· Developed processes for the identification and reduction of internal and external threat vectors. The
processes heavily addressed the Advanced Persistent Threat actors and their evolving techniques.
Utilized reports from Proof Point e-mail filtering, Websense Enterprise Internet monitoring, HP
Operations Manager, Symantec Endpoint Protection, and Spector CNE to refine the identification of
the threats.
· Implemented and maintain engineering/sustaining capabilities of an Enterprise wide monitoring
computer network based on the Spector CNE application suite. The network consists of a Windows
server based application that supports remote monitoring and recording of all workstations across the
Enterprise. The recordings are utilized to support internal and external threat identification and
investigative activities.
· Engineered, implemented, and sustain a computer forensics operation to support the investigation of
fraud, waste, and abuse of NASA Information Technology Resources. The suite of
forensics/investigative tools consists of Logicube hardware forensic duplication devices (duplicate
forensically sound hard disks), supporting compatible storage devices (SAS, SCSI, IDE, SATA),
Access Data Forensic Toolkit (FTK), Internet Investigator (Index.dat parsing application), and SMART
tools (Forensic analysis application).
· Developed processes for the USA Incident Response Team (IRT). Compiled call down lists and
associated processes with flow of information concerning identification, isolation, evidence gathering,
and eradication of computer incidents across the USA Enterprise based upon NIST and FISMA
Security Requirements.
· Effectively communicate findings, both orally and written, to all aspects of Executive Management
concerning both incidents and subsequent investigations.
· Responsible for the collection and storage of all electronic media related to any e-discovery imposed
on United Space Alliance by either state or federal court systems. Act as the IT Security
Investigations liaison between United Space Alliance and NASA, FBI, and local law enforcement
agencies concerning cases the involved criminal activity.
· Possessed a position as the IT Security Lead for the Checkout Launch Control System (CLCS)
project. Managed a team of three IT Security personnel in the assessment, development, and
implementation of the IT Security Posture for the NASA CLCS Project. This function entailed the
development of security plans and security risk assessments, Information Data Types and Data
Categorization, Continuous Monitoring, Security Operations Procedures or Guides, Contingency Plans
(CP), and Interconnection Security Agreements (ISA) related to the CLCS Project.

survey, design, implementation, and maintenance of physical security programs related to the
protection of the Shuttle Transportation System. Investigations were accomplished in reference to the
