Architected, designed and developed .NET applications to generate Press Release reports for Office of Productivity and Technology (OPT).

 

Division of Major Sector Productivity (DMSP) constructs Hourly Wage & Cost series data for Nonfarm sectors. The application uploads Multifactor Productivity (MFP) and Major Sector Productivity (MSP) data files into SQL Server, which are used to generate and upload the UPUBS data files to the public website. Division of International Labor comparisons (DILC) computes Productivity, Unit Labor Costs, Hourly Compensation Costs data for the country’s Labor Force.

 

Responsibilities:

§    Creating Web Application (to generate Press Release Reports) using MVC, Entity Framework, jQuery and Angular, with implementation knowledge of Backbone, Knockout, Ember and Web APIs.

Golden Village is the biggest entertainment company in Singapore. It has several cinema complexes around Singapore. There are 60+ halls. One of the sources of revenue for GV is to show advertisements before the start of each movie.

 

The system helps GV’s sales team to generate proposals to clients / advertising agencies. This system will keep track of contracts signed between GV and clients / agencies. The system will then generate a schedule for the showing of spots for every hall in every complex of GV. This schedule will then be sent to the client (who will know when their ads are going to go up) and the screening instructions will be sent to the complexes (who will splice the advertisements to the main feature film, in the given order). The system will also generate invoices on a monthly basis.
