I am a Principal Cloud Solutions Architect for SAIC. I bring over 15 years of enterprise-wide initiatives

focusing on technical solution formulation and user experience management to the project. Currently, I am

supporting solution development for Federal and State agencies and Emerging Markets. In addition, I support

research and development activities for cloud technologies and platforms.

Principal Cloud Solutions Architect

  · Responsible for architecting cloud computing solutions, including contributing to the development of

system requirements, designing cloud-based systems, writing proposals, developing demo systems, and

implementing cloud services.

o Supporting cloud application portfolio assessment and migration project for USDA/ RMA and

SAIC IT Operations data center application migration.

o Update and expand our Cloud Migration Edge methodology and website with real-world cloud

application migration use cases as part of our cloud internal research and development (IRAD)

program; Also experience with assessing tools and processes to support IT roadmaps and

Analysis of Alternatives (AoAs).

o Lead the data capture of recent cloud projects and ensured all artifacts, processes, partners,

technologies, and lessons learned are captured and codified into the cloud methodology – Cloud

Migration Edge - as part of our cloud internal research and development (IRAD) program.

o Supported over 25 cloud and IT management service proposals and developed 2-3 white papers in

the cloud application migration, advisory services, process improvement, network assessment and

integration areas.

Enterprise Architect/ Senior Transformation Specialist

  · Provided CIO functions (application implementation and support, strategic and e-Gov advisory) to many

federal agencies including the Federal CIO (OMB).

o Acted as key integrated project team lead for Google Apps deployment support and communications

to develop strategic and deployment communication deliverables for GSA, NOAA, DOE-INL, and

NARA agencies.

** The projects at GSA and NARA were honored as top IT projects in the Federal

Government. GSA: 10 agency projects win 2011 GCN Awards. NARA: 15 IT projects win

o Acted as technical proposal volume lead for several cloud email and collaboration strategy areas.

Supported the RFP and RFI bid process and provided technical solution analysis for cloud email and

collaboration strategy, deliverables, basis of estimate formulation. Also experienced in working with

technology partners and vendors.

o Strong working knowledge of development life cycle for (hybrid and private) cloud-based messaging

and storage technologies (i.e. Google, AWS).

o Developed 4 service offerings for Federal Government around collaboration and training for Google

Apps services. This service offering are available on the NASA SEWP contract vehicle.

o Acted as solution architect team lead for legacy application (Lotus Notes) migration to Google App

Engine and established a Center of Excellence (COE) for new application development.

o Provided application customization and support for IBM Rational System Architect to NOAA

Enterprise Architecture Program Office within the office of the CIO. Also, provided additional

advisory support to the Capital Planning & Investment and Control process to inform decisions for IT

Investments and produce “line-of-sight” performance accountability views.
