Project – Ericsson client: PLM webservices – PDM core data transformation

This is part of Ericsson’s application modernization program. In this, the core Ericsson’s products and

documents system which is based on legacy mainframe is transformed into COTS based packages and

developing webservice APIs for product life management.

Project highlights –

My role and responsibilities -

• More than 50 PDM (Product data management) mainframe applications are modernized.

• COTS based packages are implemented as new PDM systems

• Development of Webservices APIs for PDM data

• Development of cloud APIs for some of PDM requirements.

• Creating an API management layer in cloud.

• Application architect – Defining architecture for transforming legacy PDM applications into

modern Java/Webservices.

• Integration architect – Integration of different PDM applications, API architecture for exposing

core PDM functionalities.

Project - SuccessFactors integration

In this project the SuccessFactors, a cloud based HCM solution is integrated with end HR applications

for Jabil Electronics, a US based Electronics manufacturing company.

Integration work involved, integrating SuccessFactors with downstream applications like, Payroll, time

management, Benefits, BW, training and account provisioning etc.

The integration scope involved cloud to cloud (SaaS model), cloud to on-premise application integration.

This is a major transformation and enhancement project of core business processes of Bridgestone

Americas. Core business processed currently on legacy mainframe and custom built frameworks, are
