Sr. Project Manager – Worked with the CPI program providing project management for the Cloud TOE Project by creating the project charter, gathering requirements, validating viable Cloud application candidates for both Upstream and DS businesses, and developing migration Cloud processes.

The Cloud TOE project will provide support and assist the businesses migrate to the TOE using AWS and Azure. This includes generation of cloud (AWS) related KPIs, improvements in cloud uptake by the business and optimizing the existing AWS deployments via OFF/ON monitoring.  In addition, continue to optimize AWS Cloud use, improve reporting and KPI for each business to enable cost savings

eServe Landscape Asset Refresh –

Lead Project Manager: Managing the Refresh of 40 servers for the e-commerce eServe critical application landscape serving the DS Global Commercial business. The eServe portfolio of applications service more than 60,000+ Shell customers and are business critical for servicing our customers. The Shell eServe portfolio of applications are online business application linked to Shell’s backend ERP systems including Global SAP (GSAP). 

·   Work with SOM and DV stakeholders, AT&T and T-systems to agree on approach for refresh

·   Managed the entire project which included the oversight the T-systems and DV project managers.

·   Assisted in managing the implementations of AT&T and T-System network solutions in Datacom network architecture environments, using new and emerging technologies such as VMI.

·   Liaised and oversaw AT&T X1200 security activities to implement firewall rules to only the necessary TCP ports on the basis of requirements provided by project team as well oversaw the Load Balancer design and implementations for UAT, IAT and Production.

·   Oversaw our 3rd Party Provider AT&T Managed Network Services Secure Access Firewall implementations for dedicated web servers on Extranet and content rendering using external perimeter general security specifications X1200.

·   Liaised and oversaw the schedule and activities for T-systems which included the ordering of servers, HO1, and transition to support

·   Deliver refresh environment against plan and manage risks and issues

·   Managed project budget of 947k and had a budget variance of -20.32% at end of project, which amounted to a $98k savings.

Shell Oil:  Downstream Infrastructure Wintel 2000 Asset Refresh Project

Project Manager:  Management of a global effort across all COBs responsible for asset refresh of more than +1800 Windows W2k servers deployments, and +800 applications instances.

·   Provided hands-on data analysis and discovery all downstream Win2000 servers assets for status of all applications and databases still in use and in production.

·   Liaison between Shell staff, contractors, and T-Systems to supply new servers, rehost and test applications and databases, and integrate new systems with existing infrastructure.

·   Liaison between HP for desktop upgrades and deployment for the downstream businesses.

·   Facilitated and monitored the decommissioning of applications, databases and physical servers.

·   Responsible for all aspects of project with direct reporting to Shell senior management.

Shell – Brazil Joint Venture Project – A part of a team of project managers that enabled Shell to implement a new biofuels Joint Venture in Brazil with $40B in assets and $12B in revenues.  The project was divided and managed accordingly by ERP Systems and Non-ERP Business Applications and Systems.  My core focus was the creation and integration with multiple Shell systems, an outsourced Call Center, linked to SAP to support the Lubricants business for sales and customer service.

Project Manager – ( 4 Projects)

Marketing Grocer Loyalty Alliance Project - Implementing a capability to provide a fuel redemption center for Grocer customer to redeem their fuel rewards earned by purchasing groceries at Stop and Shop/Giant stores. Objective was to make use of their protected software which enables grocery - fuel discount redemption programs to aggregate their rewards against a single future purchase (and in so doing stand out as the most attractive grocery-fuel programs in the US) This enables customers to redeem their Grocery Partner loyalty fuel rewards at Shell. Customers with Grocery Partner loyalty cards will either swipe their Grocery loyalty card (along with their payment card), or enter a unique Grocery Partner ID number. The Electronic Point of Sale (EPOS) system will communicate with Shell’s Tandem, which communicates with Grocery Partner’s Rewards Host to determine if a discount is available.

·   Implemented Grocer Rewards Program to 555 Shell Wholesale Sites in the Northeast Boston, MA area as well as the Maryland area.

 

Wholesale Site Volume Capture Project – The objective was to enable Shell to obtain accurate site sales volume information from Shell’s Wholesaler branded outlets such that we can determine if contractual obligations are satisfied, incentives are accurately paid and improve product quality assurance by identifying potential for co-mingling.

·   Project was entirely dependent on Vendor POS modifications to POS application and provided our Vendor, VeriFone, the requirements.

·   Negotiated cost with vendor as well as, facilitated weekly calls to monitor progress and timelines.

·   Assisted in gathering and providing the Functional Design Specifications to Middleware for the interface required from Tandem to Database where all volume information is stored.

 

Database Consolidation Project: The objective of the project was to consolidate 3 databases to a single Cards and Loyalty application called GUMBO Plus running on Oracle 10g that will result in the following: Reduce complexity resulting from the reduction of the number of applications and interfaces currently deployed. Upgrade from compensatory controls to be fully PCI Security Standards Council compliant, Global SAP Enabled, alignment with the Streamline effort to reduce applications and interfaces and to reduce cost.


Cards and Loyalty Gift Card Conversion- Project was to develop a new Global Prepaid Card product that operates the same on all of Shell’s systems worldwide. Project objects were to combine system database, retail/consumer help desk and card production into one Global processing system handled by the same provider.

Deliverables:

·   Converted existing US Prepaid Card processor to the new vendor, First Data MS System.

·   Reroute credit card acquiring through existing direct communication lines with FDMS/Concord

·   Development, testing & certification, production implementation and production support.
