Designed and deployed global UC Infrastructure for Accenture, Getty Images, Kaiser Permanente, John Deere, Univision, XL Capital, Service Master, Stony Brook University (SUNY), LA Lakers STAPLES Center Arena, NY Giants and Jets MetLife Stadium (New Meadowlands), Cisco and Verizon Business.

 

Deployed immersive Video and UC infrastructure for STAPLES Center Arena, home of the LA Lakers.  Served as UC architect for AEG and the owners of STAPLES Center.  Designed and integrated new Cisco UC infrastructure with existing Nortel PBX.  Worked against an extremely aggressive schedule to deploy advanced UC and video applications throughout the arena, luxury suites and concessions 8 hours before a Lakers, Kings or Clippers game, the NBA All Stars, and even The Grammys happening on the same day.                           

Deployed UC Infrastructure for new NFL Stadium for NY Giants and Jets

New Meadowlands Stadium (NMS) in New Jersey costs more than 1.6 billion dollars to build and is the home of Super Bowl 48.  I was part of the team that deployed Cisco’s state-of-the-art Stadium Vision and Connected Stadium technology which allows NMS, at the touch-of-a-button, to control 2,000+ HDTVs all over the stadium: Giants’ and Jet’s Locker Room, Staff offices, Security video, concession menus and Luxury Suites HD TVs. 

 

Built NMS’ network, data center and video and UC infrastructure.  Built Security’s Unified Command Center (NMS, FBI, NJ State Police, NFL), building management and video suveillance and Press Booths.  Built and deployed UC Server Clusters (Call Managers, Unity Connection Servers, E911 Emergency Responder Servers, Contact Center Servers, Presence Servers and Call Recording Server), Redundant Voice Gateways and Cisco 7975 IP Phones.  The Cisco 7975s IP Phones ran Stadium Vision applications which provided remote control of Luxury Suites IPTVs, Point-of-Sales applications for ordering food and drinks and targetted advertising applications that streamed ads on TV, phones and menu screens.

Deployed SIP Trunks and Cisco CUBE for Accenture, John Deere and Stony Brook University.  Configured calling and called number translations, fax forwarding and SRST backup failover and Cisco Call Managers.

 

Unified Contact Center Enterprise Roll out:  Service Master

Provided IVR scripting, ICM configuration, and troubleshooting for a large scale rollout of Cisco Unified Contact Center Enterprise (UCCE).  Migrated Service Master sales, customer service and support for Dallas and Tampa Contact Center, Headquarters and 200 branch sites.

Autodesk was suffering from a serious problem with engineering build transfers.  Engineering build transfers were taking so long that development and release schedules were significantly delayed, operations and production costs were increasing exponentially and customers and clients were not happy.  I was brought in to solve the Engineering Build Transfer problem.  I analyzed transfer data, developed test, automation and transfer code and designed extremely fast, cost-effective and innovative Hybrid Transfer Solution.

Designed and Rolled Out Service Provider, Enterprise and Data Center Networks

Implemented Cisco 12000 Gigabit Switch Router (GSR) and Catalyst 6509 switch networks for a streaming media company.  Analyzed replication network traffic, troubleshot packet loss and performance issues and recommended restructured network architecture.  Worked with team building out new network infrastructure and project planning major move for epayment services’ CoLocation, BDR site, Internet, Circuits, Facilities, HQ and 400 agents Call Center.

Served as lead on VOIP rollouts for Regional and Federal Sales Offices.  Installed and configured Avaya Communication Manager, SIP IP phones and Intuity Audix Voicemail.  Worked with principal voice engineer configuring Cisco Call Manager, Unity Messaging and Cisco 7960 IP phones for new employees.  Worked with QA testing VOIP and video conferencing software.  Built Asterisk Linux PBX and conducted in-depth testing of SIP and H.323 vendor interoperability.  Worked with Lead Network Engineer implementing QOS-enabled MPLS for voice and video.

3 Years Network and Firewall Team Leadership:  Led a highly successful Network Security Team in implementing mission critical network and security projects for Bank of America.  The most significant accomplishment was the successful deployment of secure network communications for one of the largest corporate merger in US history, the merger between Bank of America and Nationsbank.  (April 1998)

 

Designed and implemented Secure Electronic Transfers networks:  for Online Banking, Stock  Exchange Floor Trading, Corporate Money Transfer, Visa Merchant Services, ePayment, International Banking, Oracle, PeopleSoft, Ariba B2B, Siebel CRM, Freddie Mac and Fannie Mae Loan Processing.

 

Business Continuity and Disaster Recovery Planning:  Analyzed network reliability, cost and performance issues.  Implemented an Internet infrastructure that was designed to detect failures quickly and automatically reroute traffic so that when a link, server or database went down, customers could still reach and do business with the site.
