Planned, tracked, and managed the consolidation of YAHOO!’s 19 global data center infrastructure in support of a multi-year plan to improve productivity, increase efficiency, and reduce cost for the company. Programs involved building large, cost-efficient data centers with newer technologies and decommissioning legacy data centers without interruption of services while supporting business growth to end users.

·               Led program management for YAHOO!’s technology platform and big data analytics, data warehouse, MicroStrategy platforms, and database infrastructure spanning across 9,000+ servers, storage, & software supporting 46 applications and Internet services. Systems used appropriate authentication, rule based authorization, and encryption.

·               Developed and executed the YAHOO! data center build and decommission plans across 14 groups.

·               Drove the strategic annual plan and forecasted program costs totaling $4 Million and resource requirements of 140 people months.

Managed multiple online payment, credit card processing, billing, and financial application projects from initiation to deployment and customer acceptance, while meeting or exceeding profit targets.
