brought on to help get Axxess' newest product Home Health Care to
market. It is a single page application designed for enterprises to use
on any size device for the purpose of making home health care scheduling,
payment, certifications. · Using a
domain driven design architecture, I helped complete a responsive single page
application to be used concurrently by thousands of home health care
workers. Specifically, I led the team to use design patterns - abstract
factory, observer, factory, singleton, builder, adapter, façade and others -
along with my implementation of the Dantzig's Simplex algorithm for optimal
scheduling built upon game theoretic utility function elicitation.
Additionally I mentored developers and helped in the evaluation of graph
databases, the use of key-value data stores, and the analysis of statistical
survey design and automation in SAS. · I
conducted competing software evaluations of products in the same business
domain to ensure that we met each feature, implemented features for a device
agnostic solution, and ensured that the learning curve for our software was
lower and that our features were more intuitive and discoverable. We
released the product on time to the hundreds of companies that were clamoring
for a better solution. Plasma

03/2013-12/2013 Overview: I was
hired to help start an e-commerce presence and provide business analysis as
well as business process modeling. As well as programming and
architecting the web site, I provided the following services: price modeling
and empirical testing, price optimization using estimated supply and demand
curves with game theory models of competition with uncertainty and market
segment analysis, factor analyses from eCommerce Google analytics, SEO A/B
testing with Bayesian networks, sensitivity analyses of budget and sales
forecast by seasons, futures contract hedges for commodity ingredients to
ensure supply price stabilization, and business entity analyses and
recommendations. The result was a very successful online business that
has led to the franchising of Popcorn Paul and many international consulting
engagements for the express purpose of getting popcorn to be more like the
gourmet popcorn sold at Popcorn Paul. Technologies: JavaScript,

08/2013 – 11/2013 Senior
Software Developer and Application Development Consultant Overview: I was
contracted to finish a project that was entirely Azure based and built upon a
framework created by Microsoft Consulting Services (in order to acquire
Microsoft's, HP's, and other large to small business's commercial real estate
management and services). I helped program Azure blob storage, design
the blob storage partitioning strategy, unit test the Azure service bus for
our publish subscribe and request reply restful API's. I worked on core Azure
services listed below with unit and integration tests for all of our features
and tasks. I profiled our scaling needs to determine our auto-scale
configuration. I also worked on integration testing for our our restful
API that consumed XML, created a common information model XML document, and
returned the document to the customer with their optionally specified XSLT
transformations. I also helped design and develop the API mime
standards according to business value. Additionally I was on the
Application Lifecycle Committee for CBRE to develop and deploy Team
Foundation Server and Team Foundation Service using a Scrum methodology with
some business specific customizations and best practices guidance to the
entire company. At the end of my time, version 1.0 was released and we were
told it was the new leading sales proposition. Technologies: C#,
Microsoft Test, Team Foundation Service Scrum methodology, Continuous
Integration with TFS build templates, ReSharper, Azure Storage Utilities,
Altova XML Spy, Layered build environments for development, test,
pre-production, and deployment. Azure Websites, Azure Blob Storage,
Azure Service Bus and Topics, Azure VPN, Azure SQL, Azure Backup, Azure Table
Storage, Azure Auto scale, Azure Management Studio, Azure SSL services and
certificates, Azure Affinity Groups, Azure Virtual Machines as well as testing
Telerik's Azure Backup Services. Azure Strategy and Use: I
helped architect and implement our use of Azure. It is important to
note that we had an exclusive partnership with Microsoft to get training from
their Azure experts as we were making a product that Microsoft would use to
manage all of its commercial real estate holdings. First we secured the
endpoints of communication using SSL/TLS and we also used another layer of
message encryption (SAML) so not only the transport layer but the message itself
was encrypted. Additionally each client of the service was issued a
token using the Azure token provider that allowed the client to have secure
communication with the service bus. Finally we partitioned the blob
storage for the client according to an asymmetric key exchange (public key
encryption exchange of a hashed and salted symmetric key) while
additionally offering OAUTH 2.0 authentication and potentially ADFS
authentication. The
key to the product working was the use of Azure's service bus technology
where we employed relay messaging with queues, auto scaling worker roles that
scaled as a function of queue size, and the two patterns of messaging we
used, namely either publish - subscribe (using service bus topics and
subscriptions model) or request-response (using the Service Bus queues
model - in fact we used queues for both models but for the
publish-subscribe methodology we additionally used topics and
subscriptions). We used Service Bus Relay Messaging to allow WCF services
to be exposed and worker roles to handle the incoming messaging that was in
the form of XML or JSON. First after a client had securely created a
portal for setting up an endpoint to send messages to they had to make the
decision on the format to send the message in. We had created an
internal common information model that the client could either write to or
they could use their existing message's format and define a translation
(using XSLT) that upon sending and receiving of the message we used to make
their message conform to. We then stored the message in a secured,
partitioned blob storage. Upon
the storage of the message we defined an API using a RESTful format that
allowed clients of the stored information to either use request-response
patterned calls or publish-subscribe output formats that could be defined to
go to a single listener or many listeners. To ensure total backwards
and forwards compatibility, the client also had the ability to define an exit
RESTful endpoint where another XSLT transformation could be defined.
This ensured that the incoming message would be allowed to be sent in
the format they were already using and include a transformation to our common
information model and upon the sending of the message a transformation that
allowed the message to be converted from our common information model to the
recipients desired format. Of course, if they decided not to change the
incoming message we allowed them to send messages anyway and export them in
the same format but many of our monitoring systems would not be able to be
used so since all of the clients would be developing automation to use
our service we constructed the XSLT transformations for them at a
price. In
addition to the use of these services we used Azure's virtual networking
capabilities to add a layer of security for both the client if they requested
it and for ourselves. Upon the publishing of the common information
model, the outward facing website the clients could use if they chose to (in
fact, we had equivalent API's that allowed no need to actually use the client
facing website at all but it was an option), and the RESTful API for defining
transformations and endpoints we had created, we started allowing
clients to use our service. We indexed search results with Lucene.NET
and allowed them to search over their defined partitions of applicable
messages. After launching the service in beta we were quickly and
securely processing billions of messages using a limited testing budget of
approximately $40,000 for the first three months of testing while securing
revenues in the millions. We increased then allowed contractual terms
to dictate the SLA agreements and turned on scaling as a function of the
contract for each client. The end result was the lead topic for sales
to clients for the largest commercial real estate company in the world. Sidemenforpaul,

10/2011 – 03/2013 Owner, Software Architect, Software Developer,
SEO& SEM Business Consultant Overview: As
the owner and business salesmen, I would, usually by referral, work with a
small business owner to use technology and business process analyses (I.e.,
operations research, statistical modeling, financial analysis, and
experimentation with sampling and expert knowledge prior probabilities and
information). I worked from the beginning of the project to the end
completing the initial analysis, requirements, software design and
architecture as well as a proposal for the project myself. As I did the
programming and analyses I would also hire from a group of developers
specializing in areas such as database architecture, user interface design
and development, as well as consulting with domain experts when needed.
