Law enforcement, security and intelligence agencies face continual challenges while handling several forms of intelligence, multiple lines of inquiry and linking different pieces of related information to solve crime. While resources are strained, the expectation to do more and do better never ceases. Officers are under tremendous pressure to close investigations, respond to emergencies and bring perpetrators to justice.

 

Recognizing this need for intelligence-led policing, Unisys developed U-LEAF offering law enforcement and security agencies the tools needed to record data, analyze information, investigate crimes and enhance collaboration. This in turn helps prevent or detect crimes and/or threats to national security, with the assurance to get it right the first time, every time.

Galaxy 2 Replacement.

The current Galaxy tracking system is a series of 11 independent MS Access 2000 databases that reside on servers in each of PBS’ 11 regional offices. The system is 12 years old, the standalone databases do not exchange data or allow for roll-ups, and there are limits to its reporting capabilities. Salesforce solution replaces the 11 Galaxy databases with a fully integrated system that alleviates the manual entry of REXUS data, thereby eliminating data transcription errors, and allows for flexible reporting in this large and highly visible account.

 

*         Lead the team for integration/system/performance testing based on integration and system test plan, support UAT and make sure that defect free program / module release

*         Operated as the solution architect and configuration lead, driving the design and development for integration with multiple legacy systems as well as managing system administration and data migration activities.

PBS Portal is built using Oracle Application Sever Portal technology. PBS Portal provides content management services and disseminates content to many PBS users. PBS Portal also acts as a gateway for many National Applications that id users perform their daily business functions. PBS Portal provides Authentication and Authorization services (Single Sign-On services) to applications. Password and Role management services for users and many National Applications can be managed by Portal users in a self-service fashion using the PBS Portal Identity management tool called UIMS(User Identity Management System). ERIN which is already a SSO integrated application is fully integrated with UIMS using Web Services.

 

*         Designed and Developed the UIMS Integration module for ERIN using WebServices.

OCP is automation for approving Loans called as Facility. The person / organization approaches the Bank for getting loan is called the Client. The person who processes the Client application is called as the Credit Writer and the person who approves the Loan (Facility) is called as the Adjudicator. In this application we mainly deal about finding the Risk Rating for a particular client. This Risk Rating is nothing but a measure of risk involved in providing the Loan (Facility) to the Client. Risk Rating plays a vital role in the approval of Loan (Facility).

This is an Intranet Based application, which is used to schedule the patient's appointment with the Doctors they wished. It has developed with user-friendly screens.  The system allows the user to define various categories according to the patients mode of visits i.e. General, Emergency, etc and it will be handled by various color code Signals. User has given the options to re-schedule an appointment, cancel an appointment as required by the patient either directly or through phone. User maintains patient’s check-in and checkout timings; it enables the system to generate the detailed reports.

 

Physician's unavailability such as vacations, holidays, and Lunch breaks are managed at the Admin section. User-friendly screens are provided in such a way that, the unavailability times of the doctors are visualized with color signals. The doctors can schedule multiple appointments at a time. The search facility provided will show the next 20-availability timing of the doctor. The user can select a date and a particular doctor or a group of doctors to view their appointment timings and the availability. The system will generate a warning signal, if the Patients appointment timing unlikely collides with the Unavailability or Break time of the doctor, which will alert the user to either change the appointment timing or the break period.

iBanking System

iBanking is an Enterprise banking solution for making the services of a bank into Web-based services. It includes the advantages of network banking along with user-friendly GUI of all the modules using Java servlets and JSP. iBanking has the advantage of n-tier architecture. Customer can access the services if he / she has a valid customer id. Once the customer id matches with the existing customer id’s then they are welcomed to access the various services provided by the application.

 

Various services provided to each customer are briefed below. Customers can view their current, account balance amount. They are allowed to do money transfer from one account to another account, provided both the account holders must hold an account in the same bank. Customers can deposit the amount online to their account, once the amount is been deposited they can view the updated balance amount in the Current Account Balance option.

 

·   The existing client/server system was enhanced using Struts Framework.

·   Used Struts Tag Libraries to develop the JSP pages.

·   Developed use case diagrams using UML on Rational Rose.

This project involves storing the order for various products, placed by various levels of customers. Various levels of customers include Existing Customers, Online customers and Prospect Customer. 

The Customers are first allowed to navigate through various products available with company. All the products are displayed along with their picture, price details and discount prices if any. While navigating through the products, they are allowed to add them to their shopping cart. Once the items are added they can view the summary of all the products selected and their individual prices along with the total amount. If they are not interested in any of the products, they are even allowed to delete any items from the shopping cart. Based on the customers location, various possible warehouse locations will be displayed from which the near by location would be selected by us. We, based on our convenience, can also select the mode of transportation. Customers, based on their convenience, can also select mode of payment. Based on the Warehouse, seasonal discounts are also displayed which attracts the customer to buy more products. Various promos are also displayed, which ease the customer’s purchase.
