Retail Industry    2011-2013       
(Role: Solution Architect / Project Manager: Location – Arkansas, US)    

Assigned to a $100-million-dollar account to help add entrepreneurial and agile common sense around our retail client’s waterfall methodology which drove projects to four and five year timelines for implementation.    

§    Drove the client’s Payroll and Finance teams to successfully architect and deploy the world’s largest local tax compliance system. The system was built by tying together DB2, Informatica, SAP, Infor, PeopleSoft, Lawson, WM Travel and multiple 3rd party hosted systems like Service Engine and Travelocity into an advanced local tax and financial reconciliation system. These systems were inter-connected by DATAPOWER, AD, MQ, Message Broker, Web Sphere, IIs, Lombardi, and various other communication and work flow systems.

§    Managed multiple vendor relationships with project oversight and architectural oversight over a diverse team of 300 people across multiple companies over 2 years.  Mentored the Project Management team on SOW creation, Legal Compliance issues, and structuring our offsite relationships with vendors.

§    Implemented our QA/Architecture/PM/BA client center onboarding with our HR team – this process led all on-boarded resources through the client’s culture, environments, history, important people, and processes (1000+ total resources taught during my tenure)

§    Recommended, designed, sold, and got approved the implementation of a global vendor security authorization system with federated identity management.  Within six months, my team of 40 client and UST developers designed the retailer’s global vendor security/authorization system for accessing people management and role information for the company’s 1.6 million employees.  The system was successfully deployed in 2013 on top of Lawson and PeopleSoft.

Animal Health Care Industry [Fortune 500 Company] – 2008 (Role: Application Architect)

§    Re-designed the customer facing business center with integration into multiple ERP systems for the North American and European Sales Divisions.  The application allowed customers to view invoices, statements, orders and payments for any accounting period occurring in the past two years flowing to and from TIBCO and the TERADATA system.
