Managed a portfolio of projects by setting up and managing global project teams to implement Akritiv an enterprise SaaS product with a multi-million dollar revenue stream, built on the Force.com platform.

·               Provided leadership and guidance to the team in managing multiple projects, implementing a consistent, transparent and predictable process. Built a team that implemented a complex SaaS product for various Fortune 500 companies.

·               Setup the Engineering Processes, Beta Customer Program, Premier Partner Program, User Groups and Conferences. Primary Customer Advocate for the company.

·               Successfully built and led the global team that delivered and integrated high volume cloud application with multiple external systems e.g. Dun & Bradstreet, Experian, Oracle Financials, SAP, and J.D. Edwards.

Managed multiple customer projects, developing and implementing budgeting and forecasting applications.

·               Lead the Program Management effort, developing project delivery processes, communication templates, and KPI’s. Developed expertise in Java, Oracle, Apache Tomcat, MySQL etc.

·               Successfully lead pre-sales efforts for multiple large deals, responsible for technical and project communication and presentations, project management, functional ownership, and communication with C level stakeholders.

Set up and managed an independent, wholly owned offshore software delivery operation based in India.

Product Leader    

Transformed a concept to a functionally complete, award winning (Best in Class Software by Business Finance Magazine), and $30M annual revenue financial software product.

·               Established a 100-strong team that delivered, implemented, and supported a stream of major releases for Aceva, a financial SAAS product with robust quality, functionality, and a user-friendly interface.

·               Implemented multi-currency, multi-language, and multi-byte features, with connectivity to credit bureaus, banks, and credit card systems.

·               Used a combination of extreme programming, scrum, traditional waterfall processes to establish a multi-location, engineering and support operation.

·               Redesigned the product in a modular fashion with enhanced functionality and feature set to make it a highly profitable revenue stream. Transformed the technical support and implementation organization from a cost center to a profit center.

Engineering Leader                                                        

Managed a team of 70, designing and developing a Web-based ERP suite with CRM and integrated Web Storefront - Praxid’s Channel Master was pioneering mid-market software as a service (SAAS/ASP hosted).

·               Established functional responsibilities, release dates with Indian teams, and met all original commitments. Consistently met budgets/deadlines.

·               Developed a fully functional consumer market place, with shopping cart functionality, credit card acceptance and banking connectivity.

Led Niku’s engineering, QA and release group.

VP IT and eCommerce

IT strategy leader; updated legacy infrastructure, and provided cost-effective billing systems.

·               Proposed and implemented Client-Server migration strategy, resulting in 20% cost reduction.

·               Completed the Y2-K initiative within budget. Spearheaded a B2B application providing 24x7 customer self-service, significantly reducing operating costs.

Technical Director, Development Manager

Managed the team spearheading development of the first JAVA-based integration data workbench, vaulting Oracle applications in its compatible use across wide-ranging applications by other vendors, an Oracle first.

·               Designed dynamic data loading, allowing Oracle platform to work in a multi-vendor environment.
