·   Tivoli Enterprise Console (TEC) to trigger an event which ten was translated by EnVision (IBM uses to restructure TEC messages to normalized custom language) which then would pass the xml language to open a Services Desk Ticket.

·   TEC/EnVision trigger an event to update a Service Desk ticket.

·   Integrated the Tivoli Identity Manager product with some third party products such as WebMethods

8)       The implementation of Fossil’s Unicenter Service Catalog with multiple domain access, and configured with four different languages to allow a special Java program to be invoked within a COTS environment.  The environment also included Unicenter Service Desk integration, which allowed automatic ticket creation from Service Catalog.  CA Workflow was used to push Catalog variables to Services Desk for auto-population and for internal Service Desk SLA escalation.   I configured the eIAM and LDAP security for global user access, as well as individual group and user content access.  I also provided direction for the configuration of firewalls to facilitate global access to Unicenter servers.

 

9)       The implementation of DMDC’s Unicenter Cohesion product, integrated with the Unicenter Asset Portfolio Management (UAPM) product.  This integration provided automatic updates of the UAPM Asset/CI class with relationships for software, applications, databases, networks, and Web applications.  Also, configured the Cohesion product in order to identify database instances and J2EE applications to be automatically recognized and associated with the appropriate CI and Asset/CI from UAPM (within the Service Desk/CMDB product).  This setup allowed for the reporting of a windfall effect.

 

10)   For the City of Rockland, I performed a CA Unicenter ArcServe 2000 upgrade to r12, which included a gap assessment of ArcServe r11, whereby the appropriate methodology was chosen for the upgrade.  Using MS Project, I outlined the details of the project, set project milestones, and monitored project progress.  I also performed implementation of the project, and tested the upgraded components to ensure functionality.   I provided the client with a disaster recovery plan that includes specifications to automatically transfer backup data to a remote.

 

11)   Provided implementation and configuration for XL Group’s Unicenter Service Metric Analysis (Service Level Management) for Service Level Agreements.  The implementation included the Service Desk 6.0 and Unicenter Portal products.  I setup the development and production environments, which included the following:

 

·   Installation of the database on a Clustered SQL server

·   Upgrade and conversation of Service Desk from a non-ITIL DB to an ITIL-supported DB

·   Configuration of detail reports from SLM and Service Desk

·   Configuration of the Unicenter Portal environment that allowed each group manager to review their respective group’s servers and applications

12)   For the NVR Homes in VA, I performed a CA Unicenter DSM and Service Desk upgrade to r12, which included a assessment of currently installed Asset Management and Software Delivery r6 implementation, level of effort to upgrade to r11 first with new architectural and implemented feature requirements, migrating of current data and integration to Service Desk r11, and the architectural design and upgrade implementation to DSM r12 and Service Desk r12. This implementation also included scripting of Software packages using Installer wrappers (ie Wise, Windows), creating batch files for distribution by Login scripts, script and load tested using Mercury Loader, assisted with Server imaging using Ghost, assisted with Citrix virtualized monitoring and customization of htmpl files and java code for Service Desk web pages.  Using MS Project, I outlined the details of the project, set project milestones, and monitored project progress.  I also performed implementation of the project, and tested the upgraded components to ensure functionality.   I provided the client with a disaster recovery plan that includes specifications to automatically transfer backup data to a remote site.

Responsible for directing a team of Enterprise Engineers (CUE’s) on the architectural design and implementation of CA Unicenter for a coast to coast Network Operating Center (NOC).  Architect the implementation of the CA Unicenter TNG suite, which includes, but not limited to, the following options: TNG Framework; TNG Event Management; TNG Workload Management; TNG Software Delivery Option (SDO); eTrust Admin Option; eTrust Access Control; eTrust Intrusion Detection; eTrust Firewall and VPN; TNG Asset Management Option (AMO); TNG Remote Control Option (RCO); TNG Advance Help Desk (AHD); TNG Network Management Option (NMO); TNG Web Management Option (WMO); TNG Brightstore (ASO). Provide implementation of System Agents, Performance Agents, and Database Agents for tracking of performance and system functionality.  Also provided integration to third party products such as Cisco Works, HP Openview, Compaq Insight Manager, Remedy Helpdesk, Veritas Backup products, Cluster and SANs products.

 

Provided architectural design and implementation utilizing the CA suite of desk top products (Software Delivery, Asset Management, Remote control) for large and medium size clients.  The installation tied back to the global Network Operating Center which integrated to a Remedy helpdesk system for issue, client and equipment tracking.  Provided architectural design and implementation of the Remedy helpdesk system for the UK and US NOC’s, which included the configuring of the network access to feed network traffic from the external DMZ servers to the internal network server. Also provided software upgrades of the Unicenter products.

Provided architectural design and implementation utilizing the CA TNG Advance Help Desk for large and medium size clients.  The installation integrated to a Tivoli Console.  Also the product was based on a Oracle Database which provided the client with issue tracking and change management tracking via web based front end.  Provided architectural design and implementation of the TNG AHD helpdesk system for the Asia NOC’s, which included architecting and configuring the DMZ zone for the external access of the web server that communicate with the internal application and database.  The DMZ was the external interface for the companies Web/FTP/eMAIL/Internet Access which was configured to allow internal computers to access the external world via proxy servers and NAT configured devices.
