The Trizetto Group (Greenwood Village, CO 80111) 2010 - 2011

Worked as tier 3 and tier 4 support for a large Health Care IT solution and hosting provider. Supported three large data centers with 7 additional corporate sites, over 60 managed customer sites, and hundreds of site-to-site VPNs.

u         Wrote provisioning scripts for Cisco 6509 to Nexus 7000 core migration with 0 down time supporting new technologies, such as VPCs, and increased 10 Gig ports density, resolve key differences in OS version and syntax.

u         Engineered and implemented the migration of one of our largest customers from redundant leased lines at each of our major sites to a robust MPLS infrastructure.  This increased the customer’s scalability and is estimated to decrease their annual service provider costs by over $200,000.

DATA CENTER NETWORK ENGINEER

USDA Forest Service (Albuquerque, NM  87109) 2009 - 2010

Major project initiative was the migration of over 1,200 sites from Frame Relay and Point to Point T1s to an MPLS / redundant datacenter architecture, as well as the tech refresh of equipment at each of those sites and day to day operational support.
