technologies and platforms at Shell Trading. Requirements for the
project included providing architectural and design guidance on the use of
Microsoft technologies, tools, and platforms for application architectures
and functional and technical scenarios common to Shell Trading, developing an
end-to-end Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) that addresses processes,

International Responsible
for the software architecture, design, development and delivery of a
portfolio of critical enterprise software development projects. The projects
were executed for Jiffy Lube International, a Shell retail business unit, and
collectively delivered in excess of $15 million per year in financial
benefit to the company. Provided technical leadership to several
development teams with a collective budget of $3.25 million and a total of
twenty IT project resources on three teams using the Shell full-life cycle
software development methodology. Customer
Loyalty Project The Customer Loyalty project was undertaken to address
functional enhancement requirements for the Shell Lubricants Fast Lubes
organization’s Jiffy Lube Point of Sale (POS) system. The project was
undertaken to address systems enhancement requirements for the organization’s
Marketing and Customer Experience organizations. ·
Requirements for the project included, provided an upgrade
to the enterprise POS system with enhanced and broadened vehicle processing
capabilities, customer facing marketing systems, current delivery mechanisms
of the Jiffy Lube published oil drain interval recommendations and stronger
business control measures in the applications functionality. ·
Implemented functionality that allowed a customer to
enroll in the Customer Loyalty Rewards program, track the customer and
deliver financial incentive to the customer. The project was also responsible
for interfacing with SAP to implement financial support provided by Shell
Lubricants to Jiffy Lube stores. Payment Card Enhancements Project The Payment Card

based on type – credit, debit or credit/debit card, implementation of payment
card processing when connection to merchant processor is down and
implementation of the standardization of method of payments. United States Lubes Pricing Tool
Project The
United States Lubes Pricing Tool (USLPT) was developed and deployed to be the
primary enterprise software environment used for the development and
management of customer pricing and allowances given to downstream customers
within the Shell Lubricants business unit, a $50 billion per year unit of
Shell Oil. ·
The software was developed and used for pricing management
of B2B and B2C customers, including very large national accounts such as
Wal-Mart stores. ·
Finally, the software development project implemented and
maintained substantial two way data interfacing with Shell's global SAP
environment as well as other supporting enterprise applications systems. ·
Successfully implemented a complex functional enhancement
called “Net Price Visibility”, which allowed the system users to view real
time product pricing with existing discounts reflected on customer invoices.
Accurate and timely pricing communications to customers during the sales
cycle had historically been difficult for Shell due to the size and complexity
of the existing, multiple systems environment. Technology Stack: .NET, SQL Server, VSS, Web Services, XML, IIS, CSS Technical Lead / Sr. Software Developer Client: Horizon Lines, Inc. / DAS Inc., Dallas, TX
Sep 2004 – Feb 2007 Dibon Solutions Inc. Horizon Lines, Inc., an American
domestic ocean shipping and logistics company headquartered in Charlotte,
North Carolina. It was the largest Jones Act maritime shipping and logistics company
and accounted for approximately 37% of all US container shipments linking the
continental United States to Alaska, Hawaii and Puerto Rico. Founded in 1954, Dallas-based Dependable
Auto Shippers (DAS) is one of the largest vehicle shipping service
providers in the world. With more than 90 certified
partner facilities, DAS safely and efficiently transports more than 100,000
vehicles each year. Performed Senior Software Developer (Technical
Lead) responsibilities on various enterprise software development
projects involving Dependable Auto Shippers, its B2B and B2C clients such
as Harley Davidson, Horizon Lines and Gigamoves (an EBay company). DAS Request Project Dependable
Auto Shippers is an exclusive partner for EBay Motors. Redesigned the EBay
systems to produce a more intuitive, efficient systems process in order to
provide an advantageous customer experience for auto shipping to the client. ·
Designed, constructed and implemented a system that
interfaced a variety of key business driver information, including service rate
and quote results, to the client in real time. The technical approach
utilized an XML request passed from EBay Motors which required a response
from the embedded DAS system functionality under aggressive time constraints.
The functional enhancements were completed in the agreed timeframes and
delivered in support of the embedded DAS shipping request system
functionality, to be used by EBay Motors. DASSTAR Project Replaced
the existing portfolio of isolated legacy applications with a comprehensive
and reliable web based ERP solution. Participated in design &
development of the ERP system and deployed with Ordering modules including
Corporate, Retail, Specialized and Global Orders; Risk Management, Accounting
integration, Claims processing, Service Delivery Management, forecasting,
tracking & payment processing. Ship My Vehicle
(SMV) Project The
software development effort was performed for Horizon Lines Inc. in support
of a business partnership with DAS. Produced functionality that provided
Horizon Lines customer’s the ability to request global move services quotes
and receive those quotes for global moves via the web site www.shipmyvehicle.com. The project
functionality was developed and deployed consistent with the expectations of
the partnership. XML Leads Project Provided
functionality in support of DAS referral services for customers who wanted to
receive shipping quotes from DAS via XML feeds. The referral services in the
developed system fed an XML-based rate request to DAS and in return received
an output XML which produced the base price for the specified DAS service and
any additional services that were identified as appropriate. DASWEB Project Participated
in design & development of an application for achieving and maintaining
the online management of operations at DAS. The project included addressing
the functional requirements of the comprehensive business workflow process
supporting retail, global vehicle and global motorcycle shipping. Designed the
applications environment to be capable of supporting very high transaction
throughput. The motorcycle module was designed and developed in partnership
with Harley-Davidson Corporation of America. DAS RATE ENGINE Project DAS
manages a separate web service for there Retail and International orders.
This web service uses WSE 2.0 for security token and has functional
implementation to give rates that include the "Base Rate" for a
move and all the possible up sells that are possible for that move like
Valuation, Enclosed, Top Load, Expedite, Guaranteed Service etc. ·
Redesigned this web service with a total makeover of the
business logic as the DAS rate model changed significantly in 2006. ·
Changed the business logic layer of the application. DASTRACK Project This
project was expected to produce a system that could obtain accurate,
real-time information concerning the current location of an automobile being
shipped by DAS on behalf of a client. DASPAY Project The
DASPAY system was developed to be used to manage all the DAS payables. The
systems managed all payables transactions that occurred at DAS including mode
of payments, as well as all business control reports. The system was
developed to include features to create payables, handle all invoicing to DAS
corporate accounts, handle the commissions paid to referrals or commission
vendors, manage approvals of all the payables due, and transfer data from
DASPAY to the DASSTAR system and vice-versa. Technology
