      Responsibilities:

§ Designed, configured and deployed Amazon Web Services (AWS) for a multitude of applications utilizing the AWS stack (Including EC2, Route53, S3, RDS, Cloud Formation, Cloud Watch, SQS, IAM), focusing on high-availability, fault tolerance, and auto-scaling.

§ Configured AWS Identity and Access Management (IAM) Groups and Users for improved login authentication.

It has a comprehensive set of streaming media features so high-quality and long-playing videos can be streamed live, multicast, or on-demand resulting in improved content access response time and end-user experience, minimized WAN usage and costs, and increased network scalability and capacity.

 

       Responsibilities:

§ Handled development of ACNS versions 5.5.19 to 5.5.31 (debugging, bug fixing, unit testing and product feature enhancements).

§ Programming in UNIX in developing Cisco ACNS.

§ Involved in customer support at the technical level to the clients(including telecom, banking, healthcare, insurance, education sector)  using ACNS --analyzing network traffic, analyzing system logs and on-line troubleshooting, bug filing, providing scripts, debugging core dumps or any other issues related to the ACNS product.

       The Cisco ECDS is a distributed network of Media Delivery Engines (MDEs) running Content Delivery Applications (CDA) that collaborate with each other to deliver multi-format content to a variety of client devices. The client devices supported are personal computers and Wi-Fi enabled mobile devices, such as personal digital assistants (PDA).The ECDS supports a variety of mechanisms to accelerate the distribution of content within the content delivery network. The ECDS offers an end-to-end solution for enterprises to ingest and stream video to viewers throughout the enterprise.

 

      Responsibilities:

§ Handled development of ECDS versions 2.5.3 to 2.5.9 (debugging, bug fixing, unit testing and product feature enhancements).

§ Feature enhancements include working on video streaming, caching application and platform development.

§ Handled vulnerability and security issues related to Open SSL.

§ Maintaining Lab network and development test-bed for ECDS.

§ Involved in handling release engineering tasks for ECDS build versions.

§ Worked on the development of Virtual ECDS. Virtual ECDS will have the capabilities to be able to run on Cisco UCS (Unified Computing System) through Vsphere (VMWARE) client.

WAAS (Cisco Wide Area Application Services)January 2009 to June 2011

       The WAAS system consists of a set of devices called wide area application engines (WAE) that work together to optimize TCP traffic over your network. When client and server applications attempt to communicate with each other, the network intercepts and redirects this traffic to the WAEs’ so that they can act on behalf of the client application and the destination server. The WAEs’ examine the traffic and use built-in application policies to determine whether to optimize the traffic or allow it to pass through your network unoptimized.
