At American Express, I am part of a team that manages a multi-site Windows production environment consisting of highly available web properties. My current role is to provide automation support where needed for IT Operations. I was a major contributor of building a hot/cold (active/passive) production hosting environment that enabled zero downtime production environment. I was the lead on engineering and developing a custom in-house Windows server configuration management tool. I also developed a VM provisioning tool using PowerShell workflow and VMWare PowerCLI. I have also implementing Microsoft PowerShell Desired State Configuration. Lastly, I was in key member of a team that designed and deployed a private cloud based on Mirantis OpenStack which integrated with Jenkins continuous integration pipeline. Additionally, I have become familiar with System Center tools like Configuration Manager, Operations Manager, Service Manager, Orchestrator, as well as development languages like C# and ASP.NET.
