Analyzed wide spectrums of problematic issues needed to be resolved at TMS Department of the Chicago Tribune. Project consisted of MS DNA architectural analysis, selection and evaluation of development methodologies, examination of overall system design, load balancing and system performance. Complete turnkey development of enterprise level Internet applications with ASP, Server side VB Scripting, Crystal Reports 8.0, Client side Java Scripting, COM, HTML and DHTML. Optimized and revamped Store procedures and Triggers utilizing PL SQL in Oracle 8i, for additional database functionality to the product inventory and searchability. Designed test plans for integrated and modular testing, documented errors and new functionalities.

Transamerica Distribution Finance (Global Finance Corporation)March 2001 – September 2001

World's leading international finance corporation originated an incredible innovative system, combining the latest wireless technologies and the Internet. I was hired at the very beginning of the project as a specialist in wireless development (under Windows CE) and Internet technologies: ASP, COM, DCOM, VB Script, IIS, MTS, Wireless Win CE 3.0 PDE (portable data entry), embedded Visual Basic 3.0, SQL Server 2000 Windows CE Edition, Win CE 3.0 API's, Advance Win CE third party controls: communication, printing, compress, Win CE communication protocols (SOAP, FTP, HTTP) and embedded Visual C++.

Long standing experience in full life-cycle development put me on the leading role in R&D (technology research and design) as well as system architecture and database design. Conducted a full range of programming tasks, from general architecture and proof of concepts to detailed program design, coding, debugging and documentation. From the foundation a well DNA architectured, comprehensively developed and properly balanced system in a variety of Microsoft Enterprise aspects, provides outstanding performance. Communication protocols and data transferring technologies were used in three diverse ways to transport data. Large volume informational requests were processed as tab-delimited export/import files, which were bean compressed and transferred through a SOAP protocol. Browser’s requests were processed as a combination of XML and SOAP. For annual updates SQL Server CE Automatic Synchronization and Replicated SQL Server data on the Windows CE device were designed and utilized.

Direct Access Brokerage Svc. (Stock Execution House)December 2000 – March 2001

Brought in to spearhead failed mission critical project: an electronic order-entry management system, which had reached numerous stages of failed testing and faced several unsuccessful attempts to move into production. Solution: Created advanced test environment, identified architectural oversights and programming errors that led to redesign of a more robust and reliable application. Identified risks, conducted analysis and established troubleshooting frameworks to reach project close. Re-architect overall application design and developed and implemented production migration strategy. Overall system configuration consisted of the following:

Trading Server application is implementation of all major trading business rules, highest level of complexity               OO (object oriented) & Multi Threaded design; Visual Basic 6.0; MS Class-Builder; Oracle 8i database, realization of data storage standards; PL SQL, SQL Plus, Store Procedures and Triggers. ActiveX COM / DCOM communication components, data interaction verification;               Trader Client application client-server DCOM configuration. Fail handling solution was implemented with MS Cluster server and Oracle Fail Safe.

Ameritech, Inc. (Telecommunications Corporation)August 2000 – December 2000

Multi-technology international application that provides a new way of automated QA Testing for Ameritech Billing system. Worked closely with clients and testers to increase productivity, reliability and testing efficiency. Project involved extensive object-oriented use of advance Visual Basic, COM/DCOM and XML for ASP to enhance simultaneous submittals and processing.

Designed and delivered from the ground up an Oracle 8i database to meet application and system requirements, developed stored procedures and performance tuned the database. Deliverables included system processes implemented through COM+, business objects and trade settlement flow diagrams, along with the determination of all internal and external data dependencies.

       Managed the programming team in the development of interactive modules on QA Testing applied via the Internet and on stand-alone computers. Planed, organized and supervised daily activities. Facilitated problem-solving meetings.

           Organized and participated in documentation improvement initiatives, including customer visits, usability testing, and document analysis. Planed, researched and engineered documentation for technical manuals, hi-tech specifications installation guides.

Motorola, Inc. (Electronic Manufacturer)March 2000 – August 2000

Served as VB/Web Programmer/Analyst during the development of Motorola’s Main Electronic Catalog. Several coordinated applications provide for real-time customized views of product and pricing information. In addition, offering Advanced Search capabilities available for viewing on the intranet/internet. Development included: ASP, Client site Java Scripting and Server site VB Scripting. The project performance benefits from combination of COM technology (components implementing business requirements) and DCOM processed through the MTS for intense data transferring. Responsible for IIS server management, mentoring of System-Management and Data-Maintaining personal combined with documentation writing.

Abbott Laboratories (World Wide Pharmaceutical Corporation)August 1999 – March 2000

Personally architecture a codependent subproject in Visual Basic 6 in conjunction with Visual C++ code. This development was part of the state of the art, big team project. The product contained multiple international applications with coordinates through XML documentation and Crystal Reports. Web enactments of the results were coordinated throughout XML and ASP (VB Script) code. Application requirement specifications pointed the particular ways to accomplishing ‘business to business’ implementation. Information was stored on Oracle 8i and was retrieved by a custom developed Data Access Control which implemented special restrictions required by the FDA. By exercising advance object oriented techniques I achieved optimal coordination between all entities.

Analytical development and all the technical expertise required in integrating contact management solutions for the entire sales force automation. Project encompassed: system analysis, software assessment, validation and customization of code within GoldMineÔ (by means of Visual Basic, VBA and C++).

Initialized, designed and developed custom integration of third party product BOSSLinkä within GoldMineÔ (rated top 10 sales automation software by PC Magazine). BOSSLinkä a complex relational database coherency tool, which offered additional, advanced data manipulation features; sophisticated multi conditional search, detail constrained import/export capabilities, and trigger initiated automatic purging and diminution of data to be linked or hosted in Access, SQL Server 6.5/7.0 or Dbase.

Constructed Internet integrated feature ‘Web Import’ (utilizing Pearl, Java &VB Scripts, CGI, HTML, ASP) for GoldMineÔ. Web based reports using Crystal Reports 7.0.

          Full life-cycle development of commercial software. Requirement analysis, design, implementation, developed and deployed installation routines. Organized testing procedures, released new versions and updates. Version control & management. Was in charge of relational database design, data mapping. Normalization for all commercial and in-house projects of large marketing/customer databases were tightly integrated with MS Access. Analytical and visual programming (coding and GUI). Personally responsible for conversion of 16-bit DLLs developed in Borland C, to 32-bit DLLs in MS C++. All applications were developed for Windows 98/95/3.1/NT and allowed users all the report writing capabilities of Crystal Reports.

        Leading the research of Windows CE operating system, got me promoted to the Project Management position (March

1998), which consisted of the following responsibilities: meeting customers and gathering information, presenting project plans to the client, data modeling, time projection, assigning responsibilities to junior developers. My development role in the project was Visual Basic 5.0 and Visual C++ programming, along with design and cultivation of an embedded Windows CE database. The product is being developed for all major CE platforms. Application and all components are being distributed by custom desktop installation utilizing Visual Basic CE Toolkit or PCI Card installation by means of InstallShield for WinCE.
