Los
Angeles, CA
Responsible for the
design, build and deployment of an end-to-end Salesforce.com service cloud
implementation at Dexterity Software (a leader and pioneer in employee
mobility services relating to business vehicles, employee relocation and
route planning). · Gathered and documented functional
and technical requirements; created business process models for current and
future state. · Interfaced with the offshore
development team in Pakistan. Performed architectural review, code review and
quality control for deliverables from the offshore team. · Hands on configuration (workflows,
assignment rules, custom objects, reports, dashboards etc.). · Data loading and conversion using
Apex Data Loader. · Deployed code and configuration
from developer sandbox via full sandbox (UAT) to production using change
sets. · Provided two days of end user
training for approximately 30 employees. Feb
2014 – May 2014: Senior Salesfrce.com Architect at Comisoft
Los
Angeles, CA
Comisoft uses a custom
built – client facing – Salesforce portal application to provide real-time,
online promotion and pricing information to manufacturers, distributors and
retailers. Channel IQ wanted to improve the quality and stability of this
application and bring the Salesforce development methodology to a higher
professional level. The
results of this assignment are: · Performed an architectural audit
on the custom application; identified and prioritized risks and problems
related to performance, stability and security. · Designed and implemented a team
development methodology that allows teams in the USA and Argentina to
independently work on features. This resulted in higher development
productivity and lower number of regression issues. · Implemented Continuous Integration
leveraging Git/Jenkins/Ant with automated continuous unit test runs and
automated deployments to QA, UAT and Production. · Created data migration strategies
and solutions (based on Apex Data Loader scripts) for the automated migration
of complex datasets from one org to another; while maintaining referential
integrity between different tables. · Improved and extended the
functionality of the existing custom application; designed and built multiple
client facing custom modules with Apex and VisualForce. April
2013 – December 2013: Salesforce.com Solution Architect at ATT Wireless
Los
Angeles, CA
· Redesigned the existing sales-,
contract- and billing process for ATT and implemented a completely new
Salesforce Sales Cloud solution (leveraging declarative customization and
Apex/Visual Force custom development) and transitioned the organization to
the new process model and Salesforce platform. · The new process reduced the time
from opportunity to contract signature to minutes instead of days. The
efficiency was so much improved that two people who left didn’t have to be
replaced. · Designed and implemented a robust
Salesforce Apex development architecture that reduces lifecycle and support
costs. The architecture is based on core Salesforce design patterns that
include centralized trigger and exception handling and the implementation of
a diagnostics framework that aids in bulk testing and debugging in
development and production. · Built integrations with: o Microsoft Great Plains accounting
software; o Conga Merge for the automated
creation of high quality contracts and proposals; o Docusign for Salesforce which
allows users to manage the complete Docusign eSignature process within
Salesforce. Jan
2012 – April 2013: Salesforce.com Architect at BEA Systems, Inc.
Los
Angeles, CA
BEA Systems had hired two
consulting firms for the development of custom Salesforce.com functionality.
Both consulting firms could demonstrate the functionality in a sandbox
environment but were unable to deploy the solution to production. Deployment
to production failed because of problems with design patterns (code was not
bulkyfied) and insufficient test coverage. · Solved the architectural and
coding problems and successfully deployed the code to production. · Continue to support Edo
Interactive in case of production problems. Mar
2008 – Dec 2011: Salesforce.com Solution Architect at Tom Sawyer Software
