Information Senior Systems Analyst 2002 - present I introduced virtualization technology to the
State of Delaware. Starting with VMware version 2.5 and over the past
13 years, we have reduced our physical server footprint from approximately 35
racks of servers down to 4. This has resulted in a savings of over
$10MM to the State during that time. Presently constructing a private
and hybrid cloud infrastructure to enable self service infrastructure and
application deployment to State agencies that use our services. I have
spoken at State run technology conferences and regularly consult with the CIO
of the State on virtualization and cloud strategies. Perdue Farms Senior Systems Administrator 1997 - 2002 I was responsible for all email communications
throughout the company. Developed the Lotus Notes infrastructure used
for messaging and applications and trained Perdue desktop support staff on
it's use. Helped design the disaster recovery plan used by Perdue and
participated in several DR exercises to help refine the plan. Citicorp Insurance Group Systems Programmer 1992 - 1997 I developed a Microsoft Access solution to help
agents track activities with their customers. I was responsible for
gathering customer requirements and implementing a solution based on those
requirements. The system replaced a legacy paper system that saved
Citicorp $50,000 annually. I worked with an outside vendor to develop a
problem tracking system written in Magic PC. I was responsible for
overseeing the activities of the vendor and making sure the solution
delivered met customer requirements. Developed a migration strategy to move
from Novell NetWare to Windows NT server infrastructure. I also worked
directly with customers to provide basic desktop and networking support. AT&T Production Support Analyst 1990 - 1992 I worked in a production support environment on an
IBM Mainframe system that allowed AT&T to sell and support 800 number
service to business customers. I worked with TSO and MVS in a COBOL
based environment. Developed several automated scripts to populate key
data tables used by the system to reduce human error introduced during manual
