·  Research, Design and Develop the various offering requirements for ECS-VPC which includes Compute, Storage and Network

·  Automation of Server, Storage and Network provisioning which includes both Physical and virtual server.

·  Provide the Restful API/interface

·  Provide the Open stack API for the ECS-VPC functionality and also integrate various open stack components such as cinder.

·  Provide automation of server provisioning which involves multiple operating systems such as Redhat, Suse Linux, Windows and HP-UX. And also use various Hypervisor such as Vmware Vcenter cluster (vSphere ESXi, DRS, vMotion) and Windows Hyper-V

·  Automation of storage involves different hardware such as EVA and 3PAR arrays for SAN and Netapp for NAS.

·  Automation of Network involves configuring procurve rack switches and also the enclosure blade switches. Also automate load balancer (F5) and firewall connected in the infrastructure.

·  Provide disaster recovery resources by configuring the clusters in dual data center.

·  Design and develop the solution to Meter the usage of Superdome (SD1) and Buccaneer (SD2) servers

·   Install multipathing software, HP secure path on various Operating systems AIX, Solaris and Hp-UX

·   Test HP Secure path in various fabric environment contain brocade/mcdata/cisco switches and with various HBA such as JNI, Qlogic and Emulex in different version of Solaris 2.8/2.9 & AIX 5.1/5.2

·   Work with development team to fix the bug in SecureParth for the new release.

·   Install, setup and Manage multiple OS such as Solaris 2.8/2.9/2.10, AIX 4.3.3/5.1/5.2, HP-UX 11i

Citibank NA has its main Data center at Chennai housing over 50 SUN servers that cater to its production banking operations across the globe. It is one of the major customers for SUN Microsystems in India.

·   Participate in a team of engineers in maintaining 70 SUN servers & ensuring an average uptime of 99%.

·   Directly involve in installing, configuring, troubleshooting, performance monitoring & performance tuning of all mission critical SUN servers.

·   Resource planning & allocation, contingency planning & Disaster recovery management with other engineers.

·   Installation and Configuration of RAID File systems with Veritas Volume Manager and Solstice Disk Suite

·   Configuring DNS servers with DNS client, NIS

·   Installation and configuration of Sun Cluster 2.2 / 3.0

·   Round the clock (24/7), round the year support to the customer who is the leader in banking business.

·   Installation and maintenance of Oracle database server /oracle parallel server and Oracle 9iRAC

·   Installation of Sun Fire 15k with the appropriate requirements. Configuration of system controllers (SC0 / SC1) and domains. Migration the critical servers from Sun Enterprise server ranges to Sun Fire 15K with Sun cluster 3.0

·   Creation of the domains as per the requirement. Updated the flash PROMS located on CPU boards, Max CPU boards and System controllers. 'hpost' was run as per the recommendations

·   Configure the LUN's of EMC² Symmetrix using ESN Manager. The LUN's are assigned to the system. Performed zoning and Masking.
