Global Solutions Architect – Virtualization and Cloud Infrastructure

Acted as global solutions architect and delivery SME for Cloud Transformation Services – a strategic enabling services group that facilitates customers defining a cloud adoption strategy and assists with onboarding to cloud infrastructures through the application of pragmatic business transformation tactics giving them the will, ability and skill to deploy, manage and support a cloud infrastructure.

 

·         Acted as designer and delivery architect for delivery of strategic partner solutions around OpenStack Cloud offerings including 8 strategic onboarding technologies.

Provided technical subject matter expertise to customers integrating Centera, a content addressed storage (CAS) device, into existing storage environments.
 

·         Contributed to $800K annual growth in department revenue by identifying new sales opportunities and initiating projects. Provided technical expertise and implemented data migration services on Centera product. Managed all technical aspects for assigned projects, provided exceptional customer service and technical leadership in extremely challenging customer environments.

 

·         Developed sales opportunities and improved customer satisfaction by developing a standardized API, eliminating the need for middle-ware products. Coded and tested porting of EMC proprietary Centera API to SNIA XAM API (open source NAS API) in C and JAVA.

Designed and developed automated testing harness of Clustered Advanced File Systems (CFS), a key component in new release of Digital/COMPAQ’s 64 bit multithreaded UNIX OS.
