Gather, analyze and model request changes from Dispatch and Area Engineering for the CADOPS system ensuring current system circuit information. Model new or update substation circuit information deciphering Substation One lines from EDMS.  Coordinate with Dispatch and implement company switching orders from COMPASS.  Responsible for everyday production level maintenance to ensure that Mapping department KPI levels remain constant.  Interpreted and post field drawings in both AutoCAD OMS (Operations Mapping System), as well as FastGate which feeds CADOPS (Computer Aided Dispatch Operations).  Collaborate and maintain relationships with field operations personnel on data issues.  Perform queries against drawings to create specialty maps.  Maintain and provide reports of map creation form Access Database and Excel Spreadsheets. Create and implemented process documentation.

Drafting as-built drawings of fiber optic cable routes to the standards of Telephony Technical’s client Velocita. Completed drawings using AutoCAD 2002, based on AT&T’s redline construction drawings.  Implemented the processes for Velocita standards.  Designed and implemented programs to automate data entry.

Managed five employees responsible for supporting engineering in the Portland Build for Level 3.  Implemented Level 3 standards.  Designed fiber optic cable routes and drafted as-builts as they pertained to the Level 3 expansion through out the Northwest.  Prioritized internal and external customer requirements, contract load and project deadlines.  Responsible for approving and coordinating outside contractual drafting work.

Responsible for all aspects of CAD support, including industrial process pipe design, record maintenance and inventory control.  Performed field measurements, located pipe runs, and positioning of existing equipment.  Conferred with contractors about design ideas.  Constructed flow diagrams, isometric drawing and process pipe drawings.  Converted board drawings to AutoCAD using conversion software.  Maintained filing and backup systems.  Responsible for inventory and material procurement.
