·   Utilized field design drawings, sketches and GIS data to accurately position newly installed overhead and underground equipment such as power poles, transformers and switches on existing drawings utilizing AutoCAD Map3D 2012.

·   Updated existing underground power maps to show newly installed distribution lines in residential and commercial zones.

·   Worked alongside peers, management and other internal departments to ensure timely and accurate mapping practices per Edison standards.

·   Served as checker for my department to ensure that all drawings submitted by my group for approval of the customer for a period of three months.

·   Prepared complete sets of Fire Protection, Access Control Diagrams, HVAC, Cable, Fiber Optic and Civil drawings utilizing departmental design guides and standards.

·   Created multiple plan, section, cross-sectional and elevation views, detail construction, assembling details, wiring diagrams, charts and graphs from rough sketches or verbal communication using AutoCAD 2014.

·   Depending on the project performed field verifications once a week to ensure drawing accuracy and as built conditions.

·   Checked planner’s redlines for accuracy and completeness prior to submitting the drawing to the customers.

·   Gathered field data on a weekly basis for engineering and design of future facilities engineering projects or modifying existing structures.

·   Gathered field data using Trimble equipment to show the location of fire protection equipment, overhead and buried utility lines and structures at the Goldstone Deep Space Communications Complex using ArcMap 10.1.

·   Provided monthly presentations to the Facilities Engineering staff with time saving tips when using AutoCAD and ArcReader software.
