·               Senior Engineering Technician, Performs duties such as drafting plant electrical, mechanical P&ID and PPS drawings for the Sewer District. Locate, convert, export sewer data and contract map drawings to GIS sewer viewer. Works with GIS ArcView, AutoCAD, Photoshop and Microsoft Office Applications.

 

Greater Alarm Company, Roseville, California (2001-2005)

·               Senior CAD Drafter, Draft wiring diagrams on floor plans for fire sprinkler monitoring systems, full manual/automatic fire alarm systems, CCTV, access control and intrusion alarm systems to meet NFPA, NEC/CEC, UBC/CBC, UFC/CFC and all local code requirements. Built PLC Panels to component level, conducted point to point wiring continuity checks and full system tests. Installed PLC programs on PLC Control Panels using Allen Bradley PLC SLC 500. United States Navy (1986-1994)

·               Electrician’s Mate (E-5/ Petty Officer Second Class), Conducted preventative maintenance, quality assurance, repairs of 4,160 volt generators, 250 kW emergency diesel generators, 450 volt AC/DC motors and generators, motor controllers, elevators, HVAC and 120 volt lighting circuits. Assumed the duties as an Electrical Switchboard Operator on U.S. Navy Vessel by maintaining the regulation of load balances among four steam turbine generators during normal and emergency operations. Diagnosed and isolated malfunctions of electrical components using technical manuals, schematics, blue prints and appropriate test equipment.
