Graduated with a Bachelors of Science degree, Associate of Science degree and completed The Dale Carnegie Course on Leadership; as well as my experience in the U.S. Navy as a Non-Commissioned Officer will help me to obtain a position that will enable me to use my strong organizational skills, fair leadership experience, educational background and ability to work well with people in any position well suited for the company.

 

WORK HISTORY

 

 

              November 2012 to Current:  Associate Designer (Part-Time)

                                                                  Sollunar Architecture, Redondo Beach CA

 

Preliminary Designer for most projects, creating As-Built drawings to start the design process and obtained clearances for proposed project in order to pull building permits. Set and attended meetings for several Bureaus within the Building & Safety Department for project approval.

 

·         As the projects progress, I would act as a consultant for any issues or changes that may come and would obtain the clearances needed to approve or mitigate the changes through the Building & Safety Department.

 

 

              July 2011 to May 2012:  Associate Director

Consultant to several school districts throughout California, writing School Facilities Needs Analysis and Fee Study Reports.             

 

·         These reports are adopted by the School District through the Board of Trustee, which allow the School District to levy taxes on development within the School District’s Boundaries.

 

 

 

 

 

              Aug 2007 to Apr 2010:  Education Funding Analyst

                                                            NTD Architecture, San Dimas CA

 

Consultant to several school districts throughout California, successfully securing state funds to build new or modernize existing school campuses.  Established a strong working relationship with several state agencies to assist districts in the School Facilities Processes in obtaining state funding.             

 

·         Obtained millions in state funding to several school districts

·         Member of Sustainable Methods Group (SMG) analyzed certain LEED credits

·         Creative in finding new ways to paint a picture of school district’s facility issues

 

May 2000 to Aug 2007: Engineering Checker

                                             Boeing, Long Beach CA

                                             

Proved to be an accomplished engineering drafter for the first two years, then became one of the youngest Engineering Checkers for the C-17 Globemaster III Aircraft. 

 

·         Performed quality assurance checks on engineering drawings and computer models within the negotiated deadlines

·         Trusted to work on NASA projects, a short collaboration of highly skilled engineers and engineering checkers

 

Jan 2000 to Sep 2006: Design Drafter
