I am looking for employment as a CAD draftsman. I have over 15 years of experience with both AutoCAD and Microstation, the latest versions being Microstation V8i and AutoCAD 2012. I have been a draftsman for many years and started work as a subsurface mapper for Hamilton Brothers Oil Company in Denver, Colorado. Since then I have worked in various engineering disciplines such as architectural, civil, cartographic, structural and most recently electrical, doing work in substation CAD drafting and design. I have only a little experience with Revit since it is a relatively new software.

Responsibilities: Created electrical schematics, civil site drawings, detail and equipment schedules for electrical substations for various public utilities (PG&E and Pacific Corp) using both Microstation V8XM, V8i and AutoCAD MEP. Drafted new and retrofit substations, heavy 2D but a lot of 3D as well.
