Lead Sr. Designer – Sub Sea Oil & Gas Installations 2010- present

Technip Inc. – Houston, TX.

Lead senior designer working in the sub sea oil and gas industry. Develop 3D models of subsea structural and piping equipment for installation in deep water installations. Use of AutoCAD 2015 and Inventor to generate models, fabrication drawings, installation drawings, and details on a daily basis. Working with engineers and project managers to achieve on time within budget projects. Develop installation procedures and guidelines for the installation of subsea equipment for deep water applications. Both rigid and flexible pipe lines and umbilical installations. Project support to fabricators and vendors, great communication skills, scheduling with Microsoft Project and earned value principles. Designer working on structural projects for pipeline support at Valdez Terminal and pump station locations along the pipeline. Worked on major Russian pipeline project with teams from all over the country. Familiar with Russian design standards and materials. Provided structural designs of water crossings, road crossings, ice breakers, and stress loops along pipeline. Designer creating 3D solid models in AutoCAD 2005 and Rhino 3D of oil platforms offshore that were damaged by hurricanes. Work offshore and on land with engineers, project managers, and other technical staff to complete the design of platforms surveyed with ROV and SAT Divers. Worked aboard a dive support vessel on location in the GOM. Worked as a contracted employee to Chevron Texaco GOM restoration project. Design models using original drawing archives and survey data to assist engineering in deciding how to disassemble and remove damaged platforms.
