·   Being a part of PSA team, I have worked with teams and business partners to Analyze Business requirement and identify practical solutions. I was responsible for the administration and ongoing support of the application.

This multi-million dollar project was designed and implemented over a period of thirty months by a team of over 400 resources across the globe. The original Charles Schwab trading website was designed using Java/C/CGI which demanded high enhancement and maintenance cost. This project aimed at re-engineering it to a less complex and easily maintainable website by using .Net Technology. The legacy website was transformed to a customer centric website which met the current market standards. In the era of online banking and trading, it was critical to enhance the performance of the Charles Schwab website in order to support high demand. This project also required a thorough understanding of the existing website, expertise in web development domain, a highly analytical mind to identify areas of improvement and out of the box thinking to achieve high service quality.

 

Roles and Responsibilities:

·   Managed a team of two resources and was accountable for their productivity.

·   Helped lay the foundation of this mighty project by being an active member of the client facing as well as the development team right at the cradle stage.

·   Designed and developed web service Interface using C# Asp.net and WCF concepts.
