The GX Donor Portal for the National Christian Foundation (NCF) is a multilayered system for processing charitable giving. The system provides user account information, Processes charitable giving, Stores donor and charity information, Tracks charitable giving activities & Assists with goal planning for charitable gifts.

 

The three main components of the GX system are: Salesforce – User interface to various Donor Components/Objects, Jitterbit – Data transformation middleware application on Amazon EC2 & Stellar – Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) software. These system components interact with other outside resources, such as Authorize.net for verifying credit card information and an SQL database on Amazon EC2 to parse data.


Roles & Responsibility

 

·               Responsible for creating and executing manual test cases and scripts around Donor Site (Customer facing site - which is powered by Saleforce implementation) both from Unit testing & Functional Flows perspective.

·               Development, staging & production access to cloud based Sales force to verify development, enhancement and defects.

The Web application was develop by another third-party Vendor and HDFC involved Gnix Infosoft for their product testing. My role as a QA resource involved following activities:
