Voyage Reporting System is a system where in Malaysia Airlines keeps track of the information related to all the flights, captures the incidents happened during a voyage and helps tracking the solution/reason for the incidents happened. Previously Malaysia Airlines used a system which was an internally developed to record all the Voyage Reports and to track the actions required based on the queries and requests in the Voyage reports.

With Salesforce.com VR implementation the VR staff and the respective department heads will have a one system where they can log the VR details and view and update the status of the VR. The VR staff will log all the VR records into the new system. They will also create Cases for the Actions Copies submitted by Cabin Crew Incharge or Captain. These Cases will then be assigned to respective departments for investigation of the issues mentioned in the cases. The status of all the cases will be tracked in the Salesforce. After the resolution of the case, the case will be marked as closed and the Cabin Crew Incharge or Captain will be notified about the case resolution.
