I was nearing
completion of the City of Highland project, when I was offered and accepted
a position with NRC as Director of Operations. The company was growing with
numerous opportunities to expand in new markets.
Oversight for all
construction operations in the Texas, Kansas and Florida regions with
accountability for delivering assigned projects on-time and on budget.

Responsible for resource management and scheduling
inclusive of personnel, sub-contractors, equipment and supplies.

Managed client relationships to keep customers
informed of project status, resolve concerns, and solicit new business
opportunities.

Created and managed capital budgets and expenditures
for equipment and worked with project managers to calculate project costs
and develop proposals for new work bids.

Managed the growth of the company from 24 million to
30 million a year in revenue.

Highland IL. Oversight of all operations for the construction of an
ADSS/FTTP network for Highland Communications Services.

Managing contractor’s daily operations to ensure
on-time completion for each segment of construction.

Manage materials and ordering in accordance to BOM’s
and all incidental materials needed.

Created construction schedules with direct reports
to the city manager and monthly project reviews before the city
telecommunications board.

budget, and fiber splice documentation.

Senior Operations
Manager
I started as a Project Manager with CCI Systems with full oversight of two
HFC Upgrade and FTTH projects in Central Virginia for Metrocast
Communications. .
§
Managed client relationships to keep customers
informed of project status, resolve concerns, and solicit new business
opportunities.
§
Responsible for resource management and scheduling
inclusive of personnel, sub-contractors, equipment and supplies.

Managed the project to its successful on time
completion.
§
We were awarded a contract with our Gold Partner,
Cisco Systems and I spent nine months on projects in Greenville and Rocky
Mount NC. As the Onsite Project Manager I was responsible for the day
to day operations as a liaison between the contractors, Cisco Systems and
Suddenlink Communications, monitoring production schedules and ensuring the
flow of Cisco products and providing technical support to the projects.

After the Cisco project I was promoted to an area
project manager for all of our Shentel engineering and upgrade projects in
Virginia and West Virginia.
§
Next I was promoted to the Senior Operations
Manager, and I had direct operations and personnel oversight for multiply
projects throughout the US.
