Conducted outside plant maintenance and repairs, using a 45ft lift truck, 28ft extension ladder and gaffs as necessary, wiring hub sites for expansion and upgrade of existing equipment( Electroline FCD/RCD units, S/A Hydrox Optical Receivers, Phillips Receivers, Motorola GX2 forward transmitters, Antec Laser Link and Laser Link II transmitters CCOR transmitters & receivers, Trilithic return sweep / Ingress gear,  fusion splicing fiber/ troubleshooting fiber optics (Mux DeMux,single mode, ribbon/ loose tube), splicing coaxial

cables (PIII, MC2,RG59,6, and 11); also hardline coax, CAT5 wire.  Worked closely with vendors ( ALPHA, MOTOROLA,SA-CISCO, ARRIS-CCOR, MAGNAVOX) to ensure proper installation of various products related to RF, VoIP, HSD services.  Ensured proper set up of the network amplifiers. Worked with EDSM status monitored power supplies and other routine power supply maintenance. Conducted FCC required POP testing (24hr & distortion testing).Also worked a On-Call Rotation with other maint techs.
