• Obtain materials and tools for Fiber to the Property (FTTP), Fiber to the Home (FTTH) and Outside

Plant (OSP) projects.

• Feed fiber optic wire through casing for routing; pre-wire homes in order to provide ready hook-up

capabilities at the time of move in.

• Experienced in testing fiber using an (OTDR) JDSU tester and an EXPO power light meter.

• Splice fiber optic cabling in pedestals, Surface Area Interface (SAI) cabinets and splice cases

(aerial/buried).

• Ability to install single and multi-drops for subscriber services.

• Ability to test and tone all drop wires from equipment room to end user location.

• Assist in locating and marking of existing subscriber fiber facilities.

• Assist in locating fiber cuts and perform temporary/permanent repairs.
