o         Responsibilities included: buying/selling distressed homes.

o         Maintain and provide weekly project status reports to project sponsors and managers. Interaction with RF engineers, Implementation PM’s, and Regional groups for procurement of equipment hardware and scheduling of installation for new build BTS cabinets and BTS SWAPs and Hot slides.

o         Primary focus for New Build Manager/SWAPs Manager position is to perform calculations and determine equipment type and quantity of 800/ 1900 MHz Nokia Ultra-site GSM BTS hardware to achieve the required RF design parameters and network capacity.

o         Main responsibilities will include implementing mass parameter changes in the radio network, BSS configurations, maintenance, validation, datafill, implementation, and BTS/BSC rehoming /configuration & site expansions.

o         Technical Site Surveys, Notice To Proceed and ERF documentation procurements and verifications.

o         Review RF requirements based on the VCF (Voice Channel Forecasting) tool against existing equipment to determine the actual required hardware including, Power Supply units, BB2E/BB2F’s, Wide band combiners and multi-couplers, duplexers and boosters (TMAs).

o         Managed a core group of 16 installers/integrators/commissioners for the Carolinas market while maintaining a balance of constant daily communication between field techs and the customer.

o         Critical visibility to build schedules for BTS hardware and spare BTS equipment for field tech use.

o         Daily bridge calls with Nokia on updates with integrations/installations, daily forecasts and troubleshooting issues.

o         Documentation was reported on a “daily” spreadsheet (my own format) which was used by Nokia as well to help minimize mistakes in documentation of complete and not complete integrated sites.

o         Utilized technology constantly for communications with techs and Nokia (cell phone, text messaging, wi-fi air cards, two-way radios, Microsoft Outlook scheduler etc). Helpful in relaying information in many forms in order to maintain a level of full control of the project.

o         Responsible for punch-list, electronic site folder (ESF), LMU. CSU and BTS reconfiguration scheduling, customer site walk inspections, random site walk audits, tool safety and proper etiquette in the field.

o         Electronic site folder harvesting and extra site visits documentations.

 

·         Project Manager (Supervisor) /Field Operations Mgr for FTTP/FTTH

·          Field Ops Manager for NTC/SDS/Goleta Communications, a sub contractor for Verizon Wireless Communications.

o         Field supervised a crew of twelve fiber and enclosure technicians, for Verizon Wireless in Murrieta and brief work in Huntington Beach (for SCOM).

o         Versed in all fiber categories (FTTH and OSP as well as ISP), knowledgeable with and proficient understanding of prints and drawings (read) and nomenclature involved with fiber and sheath counts.

o         Quality control, OTDR and VFL testing were my responsibility, Verizon authorized “as-builts” and field engineering and changes were handed down to field techs.
