·               Managed copper and fiber infrastructure construction projects (FTTN, FTTC, FTTCC, FTTB, FTTP, FTTH, FTTX, and MDU) and contractors. Supervised and managed infrastructure repair.

·               Evaluated new telecommunication wireline (Copper/Fiber) construction plans.  Determined project requirements (materials, methods and procedures, contractor requirements, public safety, utility and road safety requirements, estimated start to finish timeline, and recommended changes to the engineering work order prints as needed). I also verified OSP copper/fiber routes within easements and right of way.

·               When plans were finalized managed the project from the start to its completion and final billing with the goal of on time completion and within budget.

·               Negotiated changes and costs with engineers, contactors, the public, city, county and state officials on right of way of issues.

·               Conducted contractor quality and safety reviews.

·               Managed cable, fiber and copper cabinets and electronic cabinet inventories.

·               Reason for leaving:  Accepted an early retirement offer.

·               Managed four POTS (Plain Old Telephone Service) test centers located in Oklahoma and Texas. Responsibilities included managing clerk’s and technician's performance and meeting AT&T goals for successful tests across the Southwestern Bell region.  Software release testing, assessment of new products, development of testing strategies, development of testing criteria, field trials and the ultimate deployment of the new testing solutions ensuring a high level of testing performance.

·               Reason for leaving:  Self –initiated transfer to a senior contract coordinator sourcing specialist position closer to home.

·               Managed field technicians located across five states (all of Southwestern Bell Territory). These technicians were responsible for the onsite maintenance of the POTS and digital remote test equipment.

·               Reason for leaving:  Due to a departmental reorganization moved by management to fill a vacancy as a test center manager.

·               Tier II MLT/LoopCare support and analysis for all of SBC (twenty-two states) with the exception of Southern New England Telephone (MLT/LoopCare system includes the main frame and central office based test heads for both metallic as well as pair gain facilities, the communication network and the test application itself).

·               Reason for leaving:  Reassigned by management to fill a vacancy in the same organization as a field manager for 16 technicians in five states.

·               Reason for leaving:  Volunteered for a management position in the Local Service Center.
