                     managing the ISP for new warehouses. Each building consists of 750,000 sq. feet of                       

                     wireless warehouse space and 50,000 sq. feet of office space that cabled back to the

                     main frame.

                     Construction Manager

 

Manage all phases of construction for FTTH network deployment. Provide plans              for underground conduits and vaults by interfacing with the MDU and commercial properties. Oversee the hiring, management and training of external and in-house construction personnel on the implementation of the FTTH network. Monitor the quality of workmanship, construction activities, and developed training program for employees who were new to telecommunications. Provide equipment and vehicle requirements and solicit quotes to arrange the delivery of equipment and vehicles. Provide production reports on a regular basis to the company.

Telecommunications Project Manager

 

Designed, estimating and supervised the successful installation of multiple ISP/OSP telecommunications projects.

Developed an operational plan for multiple installations, ensuring that the regional activities could be fully supported with corporate logistics and coordinated planning. Designed and bid new voice and data telecommunication infrastructure projects for new clients while maintaining effective relationships with existing customers. Many design projects required telephony networks for multiple buildings, multiple telecommunication rooms and large office space utilizing modular furniture.

 

Worked with client representatives to develop customized solutions.

 

Designed the voice/data infrastructure, telecommunication room layouts, main distribution frame and separate installation planning and coordination for each project.

 

 

Milcom Systems Corporation, Charleston S.C.                                               1994 to 1998

Field Supervisor

 

Supervised the Federal contract to install and maintain a new copper and fiber backbone telecommunications infrastructure throughout Long Beach Naval Station and Naval Shipyard. Managed the explicit contract requirements on time and within budget which led to a subsequent overseas assignment for a similar project at the US Marine Base in Okinawa, Japan.

Field Supervisor

 

Developed and implemented new telecommunications infrastructure at seven municipal facilities, two school districts, one county welfare division and one major county hospital throughout southern California. All installations required minimal impact to ongoing functions at each facility due operational constraints.
