   AT&T Contract - N. California

·         Successfully led key project in Sonoma and Marin county of California for the proposed AT&T Uverse implementation. Work force consisted of four OSP Supervisors, one Quality/Safety Inspector and thirty OSP contract employees.

·         Implemented and managed a Construction Management Center to interface with BellSouth during the Hurricane Katrina restoration project in Louisiana.

·         Engineered all OSP Inter-office Trunking and Local facilities to operate on diverse fiber rings for the Heathrow Digital Central Office replacement.

   Cingular Wireless Contract

·         Completed cell site surveys in the following Cingular wireless markets:

St Louis, MO,  Little Rock, AR,  Buffalo & Syracuse,  NY, Atlanta, GA; and Princeton, N.J.

            The surveys evaluated the existing tower/shelter space for the proposed 3-G equipment.

OSP Engineering/Construction Project Manager - EPIK Communications – Orlando, Fl          

·         Managed the OSP Design and Construction of a Facilities Expansion Project along EPIK’s fiber backbone routes in Florida. The project consisted of adding/reinforcing forty-two regeneration sites.

·         Managed the OSP Construction of Building Entrance Facilities at the Telecom Hotel in Jacksonville, Fl. This included the permitting, conduit design, cable sizing and manhole configuration necessary to terminate the Long Haul Fibers on the Fiber Distribution Panels.

·         Managed the OSP Design of the long haul routes from Jacksonville to Atlanta, and a diverse route from Atlanta-Tallahassee-Jacksonville.

All three projects were completed on time and under budget.

 

1/1999 – 6/2000

OSP/ISP Engineering Project Manager - North Star Communications – Orlando, Fl

LEVEL (3) Contract

·         Managed the design of the original fiber rings in the Central Florida area. Group consisted of five designers, two CAD operators and one Right of Way facilitator. Later managed the Construction phase of the Project which was completed on time and under budget.

·         Completed the design of an extensive project for North Star in Houston for a competitive carrier. The design was for a SONET Ring from Houston to Johnson Space Center and back.
