• Contract Engineering for CenturyLink. All disciplines of outside plant engineering and project management. Managed seven state area with OSP/ISP engineering and  inspection direct reports.

 

OSP Engineer, Progressive Communication Services, Inc., Old Hickory, Tennessee 01/2007 to 05/2009.

• Contract Engineering for AT&T. FTTN design and FEI experience. Also have worked in systems such as ARES, MIC, TELCO, IMAGINE.

 

OSP Engineer, Great Lakes Comnet. And ACE Engineering; Ashland, Ohio 07/2002 to 12/2006

• Contract work for Alltel and Sprint. Experience in all facets of outside plant engineering, planning and project management.

 

OSP Engineer, Technetium and ECSM, Inc.; Mansfield, Ohio 06/2000 to 07/2002

• Contract work for Sprint, GTE (Verizon) and Alltel. Experience in all aspects of engineering including planning of “feeder/distribution” routes, transmission, OSP fieldwork, drafting, permits, updating records & material/labor lists.

• Knowledge in the following areas: Central office, copper/fiber optic cable placement. (aerial, buried or underground)

• Site preparation and cable conditioning for HDSL and T-1 design.

• Responsible for working with all State/County officials as well as any residents in any given work area. Also have worked with construction and splice crews to ensure a quality, efficient and safe project.

• Assisted planners in the creation of Customer Serving Areas.

• Updated COE records, including Floor plans, Frames, Relay Racks, FOSD (Fiber Optic Splicing Details) and TLEL (Transmission Line Engineering Layouts).

• Utilized EWO, Mapviewer, CLAS, to accomplish this.
