·   Repaired, maintained and provisioned circuits on the FR and ATM network.

·   Used INTAS, NAVISCORE, ATM, WAFA, NCON, INTERGRATOR, Remedy, LIMS and other related systems and tools for repair work, provisioning and ticketing.

·   Repaired and maintained all IMA Trunks to RT DSLAMS including FTTN and IPDATA.

·   CO based DSLAM was connected directly to the CO LAN. The CO based DSLAM circuits were DS3 trucks connected directly to the ATM network. This included Cisco 6100/6160, ADTRAN 1100f/1124/1148/1248,

·   Alcatel USAM/ASAM, Lucent Stinger, Catena NX, and Alcatel 5650 switch, Cisco 6500 series

·   Worked closely with infrastructure performing grooming on the ATM network and adds to the remote DSLAMS.

·   Worked with Cisco 6500 series switches Cisco 2900/2951 for repair issues (ping, trace routes, interfaces,   packet loss, utilization and load balancing with IPNOC.

·   Informed infrastructure about PVC moves and assisted with load balancing.

·   Worked with backbone group (ATM), assisted in turning up POP (point of presence) circuits mostly OC3when possible but DS3's as well due to congestion.

·   DSLOPS for turning new T1 links in our IMA groups. Let them know we needed more T1's or if possible pushed FTTN and coordinated with an OST in turning the circuits up.

·   Was responsible for CLEC, LEC.

·   Worked with RBOC's like Verizon, SBC, Century Link, and AT&T for our out of regional customers.

·   Was responsible for clearing our network and coordinating with the LEC'S creating tickets and informing the customer about ticket status and LEC progress.

·   Used INTAS for loop-back testing to POI, pulling HDSL stats for DS1's and SMAS points for DSO. If the trouble was in our network, created a ticket with our design services department.

·   Worked strictly with ATM customers.

Central Office Technician

QWEST COMMUNICATIONS - Saint Paul, MN - October 2004 to December 2005

·   Installed, repaired, and maintained DSO, DS1, DS3, SONET, DACS and DSL.

·   Worked with various groups within Qwest isolating circuit trouble.

·   Repaired IOC circuits and SS7.

·   Worked with groups complete MOP's on CO installs and upgrades. Weekly back-up and routine initiatives

Central Office Technician

QWEST COMMUNICATIONS - Pine City, MN - September 2002 to October 2004

·   Position was a Four Wall technician.

·   Installed relay racks, patch panels, switches, 110 blocks, 66 blocks, and DSX equipment, installed, repaired, tested, and maintained all facilities within the central office.

·   Details included POTS, HICAP, SPECIALS, SLC and PG SYSTEMS, MUX, SMAS, D4, IOC and Ericsson Switch.

·   Managed and maintained central offices which included Pine City, Rush City, Hinckley, and Sandstone.

Customer Data Technician

QWEST COMMUNICATIONS - Coon Rapids, MN - March 2000 to September 2002

·   Installed, repaired and troubleshot all Design Service circuits (DS0 to SONET).

·   Worked with Tellabs 5500 and Tellabs 0/1 DACS.

·   Used OSP-FM to determine cable facilities and repeater locations.

·   Span Crew (recovered facilities to be used for new installed circuits remove load coils, and Bridge Tap for conditioning spans).

·   Performed cable splicing which included fiber and copper.

·   Installed DS1's to customer premises on initial Turn-Ups.

·   Worked with T-Mobile on cell tower turn-ups by providing DS1 or Fiber and installed all fiber equipment (FDP'S, NIU'S and multiplexers); responsible for repairing those circuits if there are cabling or circuit issues; also familiar with 802.11b/a/g/n standards.

·   ADC, ADTRAN and WESTELL were the 3 technologies used for HICAP circuits T1T/T1R, HDSL, HDSL2, HDSL4, ISDN and Pair Gain.
