The summer for 2014 our client begin to roll out the Additional carrier for the next generation of Telecom. This build consisted of more data capacity for customers on a LTE/PCS network these, sites contained multiple build scenarios with ground and tower top builds using antennas, radios, and coax. I scoped sites effectively so that equipment and materials could be used to continue effective construction.

Construction Manager UMTS/Alltel Project, Atlanta GA

Managed the UMTS 850 MHz upgrade build for the Alltel/AT&T buyout build. This build consisted of adding more capacity to the existing 1900 MHz frequencies only areas. These areas were in the out skirts of Atlanta these areas included Columbus, Augusta, Rome, Albany, Lagrange, Peachtree City, and Chatsworth Georgia. My main duties were to field verify all site audit data that could be used to scope for materials, mount improvements, tower modifications, and loading capacity. I developed a game plan that allowed construction production to continue without any interruptions. I made minimal trips for materials and kept the project on budget and on time. With the success I was able to kept profits in Goodman Networks and less spending for our Client AT&T.

Developed new redline drawings using SITERRA, GPS, Google Earth, Visio and CAD programs that came from site acquisitions specialist and engineers. Information obtain was used  in order  coordinate  proper conduit/innerduct, placement of MESA Vaults, hand holes, LGXs, fiber cabinets, Racks H-Frames, Microwave Radio racks, CISCO/RAD routers RADIOS and RBS Cabinets. Wireless construction included installation for COAX/fiber, Antennas iDAS/oDAS, and power runs with surge protectors. My small cell experience include in building and outside designs with in-building designs of small cell technology. These small cell nodes contain antennas coax and mini power plants. As a FTTX/OSP Construction Manager I managed construction for various fiber and copper designs. Theses designs consisted of areal, underground construction and long haul fiber transport. Fiber Transport designs consisted of miles of fiber which contain nodes that branched to provide service for other vendors or wireless utilities. My duties also included design packages that started from hand sketch drawing and converted to CAD to be produced to develop accurate CDs to assist our contractors in building accurate systems. The designs also came from CAD maps or GIS maps that were sometimes REDLINED with Visio markings to be submitted to the client for approval. Bid walks were planned to maintain a 35% profit margin. I ordered materials for our in house technicians and managed material’s pricing for General Contractors to maintain overall project cost. Managing projects cost ranged from a few thousand to over a million dollars. I laid conduit for short transports paths and preformed directional boring for long haul transport for underground transport. I often met with surveyors to survey transport paths to avoid potential danger/hazards. As a manager I often was in constant communication with City, County, and State representatives who oversaw permitting for right of ways and easements. I schedule outages during maintenance windows for service and ensured that service was restored back to optimal performance.
