Temporary Project Assignment - Negotiate, coordinate and project manage the placement of fiber cables for the Verizon FIOS system to Multi- Dwelling Units (MDU) in Virginia.  Assist MDU team in negotiating successful placement of necessary fiber cables to allow end user access to the Verizon FIOS network.  Update BDMS engineering database, attend weekly meetings with the vendors, engineering and construction forces to manage all phases of the project task orders.  The Engineering Department discovered one month into the loan that they had insufficient funds to cover this so all volunteers were sent back to their home groups.

Current projections are that the Intelligent Peripheral will generate revenues of $650M and expense savings of $ 48M over a 5-year period.  I became the single point of contact for Verizon in charge of streamlining the flow of feature processes inception to field enablement for the IP device.

Designed and configured a network solution for a VIS customer that utilized Frame-Relay as the protocol for numerous remote locations that had to connect to the Internet through a hub location that utilized a Point to Mux T-1 protocol (HDLC) with specific private addresses at each remote location.  Programmed Cisco 1720 series router with access lists and routing to accommodate the customer’s requirements.
