Verizon Telecommunications Outside Plant Engineering - Annapolis, MD - January 2000 to July 2008
Responsibilities
-Engineered Outside Plant Facilities for construction of Network Designs.
-Managed 30 Engineering Assistants.
-Assured timely completion, quality and accuracy of work on Engineering Work Orders with internal and
external customers for business and residential telecom services.
-Designed, and Built high demand databases to capture network facilities that provided resources for HiCapacity
Network Services.
-Designed, and Built first databases to obtain production measurements for accountability in Engineering
Departments.
-Led the first team of Engineers for the roll-out of the company's new fiber infrastructure for FIOS or Fiber to
the Premis, (FTTP) in the Washington, D.C./Baltimore Area.

-Developed databases that were non-existent to improve accountability of resources, personnel, and
internal/
external customers.
-Trained Engineers with new drafting applications; MicroStation, and re-structured Engineering Design
Builds with next generation drafting tools.
-Led the first roll-out of FTTP for Washington D.C./Baltimore, then the Annapolis and Federal sites.
-Negotiated Permits with the State for Construction and Scheduled Engineering Orders from Design to
Construction Complete dates.
-Moved the technology and infrastructure of Verizon's telecommunication Outside Plant Resources into a
new Fiber Base to sell or redistribute the copper infrastructure.
