Currently overseeing an optical power light level project
for VA,MD,DC and NJ, by collaborating closely with the Field Teams to repair
200+ sites to prevent Switched Ethernet Service Outages that affect TMOBILE
& AT&T.
Headed the Simplex Team with a group of 8 technicians clearing
approximately 700 network simplexes monthly preventing outages. For the
past two years in this role, we have maintained our 98% monthly metric of
clearing simplexes within 5 days before they report to the FCC.
Analyzed over 1000+ network issues cleared monthly; to ensure
100% accuracy is reported to the FCC and to make certain there are no
discrepancies in our metrics.
Co-managed a team of 18 union work force technicians during my
shift, also was responsible for compiling the schedule for the whole group of
45 in the center. Implemented the technician schedule quarterly abiding
by the guidelines of the contract; making sure there is adequate coverage on
the floor on all three shifts while working in the day offs and vacation of
each individual.
Relived my Manager of compiling the supervisor schedule by
building the management supervisor schedule for the past two years, working
together with my peers to make sure there is duty coverage for the
weekend.
Troubleshoot circuits ranging from T1/T3/STS1
/OC1/OC3/OC12/OC48/OC192/ GIGE/OMC from A to Z end isolating the location of
issue prior to hand off, also clearing roadblocks that arise that slows down
MTTR (Mean Time To Repair).
