2011 –2014

Responsible for leading teams through full SDLC of internal and vendor supported application and hardware development / deployment to a 26 million household customer base in a very complex and diverse structure of networks.  This included working with Executive Leadership (V.P. and S.V.P), Comcast Business Unit Managers, and PMO to develop Business Requirements, Engineering / Development teams to develop Technical Requirements, as well as Operation Teams, Network Engineering Teams, Quality Assurance, and associated vendors. As Project Manager my role was to lead, drive, coordinate and track all activities for multiple parallel projects, reporting to Senior Managers and Executive Leadership for cross functional teams and divisions.

Originally teams worked using a Waterfall methodology and through my tenure we developed a successful Agile / Scrum Methodology for all teams, where the role transitioned into Scrum Master.  As Scrum Master, I served as the focal point for the team, leading all retrospectives, sprint planning, daily stand up and product owner meetings. In addition, I ensured that all artifacts such as product backlog, sprint backlog, increments and burn down charts were created, maintained and accurate.

Major projects included:

·   Lead team consisting of members from Marketing, Engineering, Development, Logistics, Customer Service, vendors and other company entities creating customer facing website and related mobile applications in order to reduce foot traffic in Comcast customer centers by creating new avenues for product purchases.

·   End to End Product Engineering and Development of multiple subscriber home gateways and other associated network hardware which offered voice, data, video, and internal/external Wi-Fi.  These projects were from concept to deployment and included tracking business decisions, budgets, feature requirements, working with vendor’s foreign and domestic manufacturing partners as well as testing and deployment to millions of subscribers.

·   End to End Product Engineering and Development three core network platforms used by Comcast for usage based billing.  These projects were from concept to deployment and including working with Executive, Business, Engineering and Operations teams to determine requirements and solutions.  Core project work revolved around working with three vendors to create an integrated platform, customized for Comcast’s network as well as serving as Scrum Master for crucial internal application development.  In addition, a new Operational model for these platforms was created and the project included spearheading the transition and deployment of new hardware, software and Operational teams from different geographic regions of the country.

·   Internal development of a rapid deployment cloud based model utilizing Cisco Unified Computing system.  Core project work revolved around translating business requirements into technical requirements and pulling Engineering resources from various teams to develop and test solutions in lab environments.
