***National single point of contact (SPOC) to coordinate CO Design Engineering, OSP Field Engineering, Switch Planning, and TIRKS E1 personnel with the identification, analysis, recovery and inventory of Digital Trunk Interface (DTI) Switch Ports in Lucent 5ESS and Nortel DMS switches within the former Bell Atlantic (fBA) footprint (Maine to Virginia).  Completion of this initiative in December 2004 resulted in the recovery and savings of $35.8M of previously stranded investment.
