Field Engineer / Design

Performed site walks and created construction proposals packages upgrading AT&T Mobility’s cellular network. Completed and submitted construction proposal packages in an acceptable and profitable time frame with minimal need for revisions. Assisted in creation of construction proposal template; currently used as the standard for MasTec.             

 

Project Manager/Supervisor

              Responsibilities included coordinating with Fort Stewart Military personnel in construction of fiber optic and copper communication network, production reporting and splicing during hot windows. Project completed under budget and within profit expectations, which included travel out of state to meet deadlines.

 

              Supervision of Verizon's Florida FTTP/FIOS project responsibilities included development and management of locate process, routing of all locate personnel, work order scheduling, participation in production report meetings with Verizon and construction meetings with municipalities and utilities. Supervision and inspection of buried path creation, installation, billing and walk out.

 

Worked directly with Senior Area Manager to establish new contract territory with Century Link in Hinesville, Ga. Responsibilities included assisting in hiring and training of new local personnel, establishing vendor accounts, creating warehousing and inventory guidelines, work order pre-fielding, inspection and billing per Century Link standards. •              Meet with engineers of various phone companies to help determine what the specific needs are to upgrade AT&T Mobility's cellular network (i.e.: 3G to 4G).

 

Management of project in Davie, Fl preparing MasTec owned property for new tenant lease. Responsibilities included inventory and storage of personnel records, office equipment and construction materials. Property upgrades as required per local statutes. Worked directly with new tenants to accommodate requirements. All work completed within timeframe and under budget allowances.

 

Assisted in creation of MasTec work policies and training, complaint resolution and supervision of construction crews.

 

Foreman responsibilities include traffic light upgrades, installation of illuminated street signs overhead and cabinet wiring. Responsible for proper M.O.T. set-up during all intersection work. Reclaim water project and Verizon roadwork inspection.
