Design DFTT Dark Fiber to the tower for Verizon and T-Mobile. Design the actual back bone core and rings that included are lateral routes to provide service to our client cell sites. Handled the permitting and QA/QC for the fiber installation. Perform the cost aliases per site, for each small cell site project. Managed daily field issue that came up on a daily bases. Managed daily conference calls with are General Contractors and updated tracker daily, perform and approved close out packages

 

AT&T CONSTRUCTION MANAGER BW/WA, SABER/MUTI    OCTOBER 2013-September 2014

Managed the Generator install for the Baltimore/ Washington market for 200 cell site build out. Dealing

With A&E and Site Acquisition, on a daily bases designing sites for land Lord Approval; approving location Generator size while tracking their performance. Assistance with zoning and permitting issue at city and state level. Surveyed DAS sites for generator requirements.

Installing and Decom a 495 foot sabre guyed tower for Tyndall AFB. Relocating and adding a total of 31 lines and 30 antennas while the flying squadron were still able to fly without interruption in flight.

 

AT&T CONSTRUCTION MANAGER WEST VIRIGNA                       FEBRUARY 2013- OCTOBER 2013

Responsible for LTE new Build out for the WVA, KY, OH market for 250 cell sites turn up. Managed the day to day constructions activities for the LTE build out. Managed the Turf vendor QA/QC issues on a daily bases, along with field changes that were required for approval. Assisted in the design and rollout of iDAS/oDAS along with DE coming old Nokia and Ericsson equipment for either salvage or relocating for another project.

 

GCI/EXXON DESIGN ENGINEERING ANCHORAGE ALASKA         NOVEMBER 2012-FEBURAY 2013

Designing of Fiber Optic for the Exxon project located on the North Slope. Design and build 30 p modules buildings, which supports housing for the assigned personal and office work space and the main communication center, for the Exxon project for the North Slope oil fields. Detailing a LAN/WAN, CCTV, P. A. SYSTEMS and Fiber Optic Back bone and a local POTs system to be installed in all of the Mods.

 

ALCATEL-LUCENT/ PROJECT MANAGER; CHARLOTTE NC.   NOVERMBER 2011-NOVERMBER 2012

Backhaul Project Manager,

Responsible for design and approval of the installations of 450 Sprint cell site for the last mile back haul turn-up. Managed 5 Fiber Venders along with 5 A&E firms to support the AAV install. Approved the BOM and scoping from field manager prior to constructions.

 

ALCATEL-LUCENT/CELLULAR SOUTH; ALABAMA/MISSIPPISSI MARKET   JULY 2011-OCT 2011

SR. CONSTRUCTION MANAGER.

Perform site surveys for the LTE build out for 429 cell site in the Alabama market. Worked with Cellular South A&E firm on the site design, for power and the equipment upgrade.

Drafted the BOM while on site, scoped and ordered required materials for the LTE roll out.

The Lucent equipment was being used in the Alabama market. Nokia equipment was being used in are sister build in Mississippi market.

At the times I was required to manage either market on Approved for all field design and BOM’s to be ordered prior to construction. Approved any and all field design changes that were required. Field design and ordered the RRU, RRH and the LMU to be installed at each cell site. Directed the removal of existing equipment and or the new installation of the equipment to be installed depending on the site requirements. Held weekly meeting with client and internal team. Handled Land lord issue between clients to resolved issue in a timely with a professional manner. Approved all Decomm of old vendor equipment for being either scrapped or relocated to another project.

 

HARRIS-CITY OF DADE COUNTY MIAMI FLORIDA DECEMBER 2010-JULY 2011

PROJECT MANAGER.

In charge of the rehoming of the Police/Fire department communication towers and equipment upgrade. Swapping out the existing Nortel equipment with new upgraded Harris equipment, Re-banning as we went. Responsible for the selection of all general contractors, approving of the finale A&E drawings. Prepared and submitted the BOM for ordering and warehousing of all the equipment. Submitted the finale A&E drawing for permitting and approval from the city. Holding weekly meet with the client and user for their weekly updates. Performed bid walks and awarded the contract to are general contractor, approved all changed orders in the field. Dealt with Building and Land lord issue on a daily bases. Dealt with local and state building codes and regulations.

 

CLEARWIRE/SMARTLINK; ROCHELL PARK NJ.AUGUST 2011-DECEMBER 2010

CONSTRUCTION MANAGER.

Performed the pathing Quality control for the New York, Long island 1800 cell site build out. Managed the day-today pathing crews, which included the installation of the Dragon-wave and Bridge wave 1-2 foot dishes.

Performed Quality assurance on the installations of the dishes, while handling access issue with land lords on a daily bases a long with problems that may have occurred, resolving them quickly as possible, prior to the 4 G installations with the MSO upgrade build out going on at the same time.

 

DASNET/ROHN TOWER; KANADHA AFGHANISTAN-ROHN TOWERS –RYIHA SAUDI ARAABAI DECEMBER 2009-NOVEMBER 2010

PROJECT MANAGER

While in Afghanistan, I design and over seen the installation of the Outside Plant, for one of NATO bases. Utilizing local work force, I was assigned to oversee the construction of housing that would house the upcoming troop assignments for their living and working quarters.

While assigned to ROHN SAUDI INTERNATIONAL. I was directing the build out of 184 cell site for the Terraria antenna systems for the SAUDI Government. In detail there were 135 raw land builds, 49 modes, along 184 shelter that were built in country which I performed Quality control to ROHN standards. All 184 site required power and Telecom upgrade all site required either a New Generator fuel cells install or we installed 29 site that require Solo Panel in the Sahara Desert along with a MSO that needed to be design and built.

 

T-MOBILE/SMARTLINK GREENVILLE SC.                               DECEMBER 2008-DECEMBER 2009

CONSTRUCTION MANAGER.

Managed a 250 plus UMTS site overlay. Performed scoping, material ordering and managing material control. Dealing with day today construction issues and approving all field changes long with the A&E drawings.

Performed Bid walks and award the contact to the General contractor. Assuring the RRU, RRH and LMU were either installed or harvest to company specifications. Assuring all red lines and close out package were performed correctly and on time to be client. Holding meeting with are general contractors on a daily assignment and any issue that may arise hold safety meeting daily. Meeting with are client and end user on a Bi-weekly appointment. Assisted COX communications with the fiber design to the cell sites for turn up. Set up the schedule for the Ericsson and the Nokia equipment for commissioning and testing. Managed the removal and relocating or disposal of their outdated Ericsson and Nokia equipment.

 

T-MOBILE/NORTH STAR & AFL; JESSUP MARYLAND JUNE 2008-DECEMBER 2008

CONSTRUCTION MANAGER.

Performed the Quality Control of 220 UMTS site build. Directed the closed out procedures for prompted delivery to are client in the TRI-states area, assured that RRU RRH LMU, and the E-911 was installed or relocated to the proper sites. Dealt with the local LEC to provide Fiber to the cell sites for new T-1 ordering a long with assuring power was either ordered or upgraded as required.

 

AT&T/NSORO ORLANDO FLORIDA GREENVILE NC.  OCTOBER2007-JUNE 2008

Managed the AT&T UMTS New site build out in Florida and the Caroline’s market, this consist of 350 cell site  all site included the managing of A&E, site Acquisitions, selections of general contractor, the ordering of power and T-1’s and installations of all of the utilities. Performing bid walks on all of the site including scoping and BOM ordering. Perform the power upgrades where required. Material handling and warehousing of the equipment to be installed, and scheduling the commissioning of the equipment. Approved the closeout packaging for submitting to the client equipment manufacture were Nokia, Ericsson, true positions. Held Bi-weekly meeting with client, dealt with construction issue pertaining to clients and customers’ needs managed the Decom of the Nokia equipment to be relocated to another market.

 

SPRINT/NEXTEL ATLANTA GEORGIANOVERMBER 2006-OCTOBER 2007

CONSTRUCTION PROJECT MANAGER

Responsible for the management of new construction and CO-locates for the installation of iDEN and CDMA a long with UMTS for 600 cell sites build in the Atlanta market. Responsible for the approval of site design and Quality of the build and general contractor selections. Perform bid walks and awarded contract to general contractors that I have selected. QA/QC finale approval for site completions .Trained internal personal on wireless constructions standards. Approved closeout package from general contractor. Held bi-weekly construction meeting with are general contractors and client for are tracking updates. Submitted and track the progress of the power, Telco and permitting for are sites, schedule the removal and shipment of Decom equipment when required to.

 

AT&T/ ERICSSON/ CH2MHILL/ Central CaliforniaJANUARY 2005-NOVERMBER 2006

CONSTRUCTION MANAGER.

Managed the UMTS upgrade of over 600 cell sites, re-design cell sites to accommodate new lines and antennas, along with the new installations of the UMTS power drops and battery and rectifier upgrades to support the Ericsson equipment installations. A long with ordering new T-1 and power service for site that require either an upgrade or new services. Conducted QA/QC for the new installations, approved all sweep test and cable replacement when required.approved close out packages to be submitted to the client, assured all new technology was installed correctly, UMTS, RRU, RRH Electrical down tilts, LMU E-911. Held Bi-weekly meeting with clients and end user. Took care Land Lord issue when they arise settled and corrected problems they may have. Submitted and tracked the progress of the electrical and building permits. Managed the Decom and relocating of assigned equipment to different markets

 

AT&T/GENERAL DYNAMICS CENTERAL CALIFORINADECEMBER 2004 DECEMBER 2005

CONSTRUCTION MANAGER.

Managed the quality assurance for the installations of the NEW Ericsson UMTS equipment for Cingular merging with AT&T Nokia equipment in the Bay area, over 600 sites were affected by the merger/upgrade.  I approved everything from new design to site acceptance to the completed turn over packages. Guided construction supervisor and general contractors and subs on the recommended proper correction actions to be taken for a proper installations of equipment in a timely manner. I was the middle person for client/end user to field personal and Land lord, for any issues that need to be solved prior to constructions or during constructions.

 

AT&T/HENKELS & McCoy MENTECA CALFORINA                        JANURAY 2004-DECEMBER 2004

PROJECT MANAGER

Managed 100 cell site upgrade for E-911 equipment installations to commissioning. Performed internal QA/QC close out and acceptance.

Performed a complete turnkey design and installations of 18 raw land Microwave build out for the State of Nevada from setting the shelter to tower and Microwave dish. All shelter required to have a complete equipment package to be install with cable ladder, battery banks with batteries FIF racks to equipment bays to assembling on site prior to the tower and microwave dishes being installed, coordinate with state reps on design, permitting delivery and turn up to close out, dealt with the state Rep on all change orders that were required for approval.

 

FORT McCoy –VERIDIAN- SPARTA WISSCONSSAN 2002-2004

SENIOR INFORMATION TECHNOLGIST

Managed the Quality assurance for the I3PM/LAN/WAN/QUTEN project for the US ARMY. Overseen 110 miles of outside plant conduit and of which 148 KLM of fiber cable ranging from 6 strand to 288 strand [single and multimode fiber]. Installed 3 New POPs a long with 38 miles cooper cable ranging from 25 pair, to 1800 pair cable in turn we installed 124 manholes and 4 Hand holes, extended the existing MDF  with 11 new vertical main frames which serviced the 110 building, that included 150 communication rooms that house the CISCO 4500-6500 router.

The 11 NEW vertical main frame we were able to in large the cable plant by 5,000 new copper cable pairs. I had to redesign Verizon as-built due to they left off more than half of the building entry or in-proper running of interior conduit to Army/Government standards, beside the interior redesign I had add road crossing with proper steel sleeves and concrete cap to protect the fiber Optics cable form Tank crossing.

Cost of this project was over 11 million dollars .Held Bi-weekly meeting with senior Military member and high ranking DOD employees on progress or installation an change that were required.

 

ASTAC/ BARROW ALASKA2000-2002

OUTSIDE PLANT MANAGER

Managed the day to day Inside/outside plant actives in a rural telephone plant in Alaska. Basically keep a rural telephone company a float with install and repairs to the switch and outside plant. ASTAC took this plant over from GTE, I spent over a years’ time  in the Outside Plant upgrade to current standards and rebuilding the existing cable plant to code, when I first arrived their back log in installs were over 200 behind, trouble ticket were about the same in back logged installs. It took over 5 months to get the numbers down to single numbers on both troubles and installs. We maintained and install everything from POTS to T-1s to DS0- DS3 56k circuits to the microwave tower. Weather is main challenged beside location, ordering and receiving materials is a challagened, we all so support the out laying villages and the slope for telephone service.

 

METRICOM-GENERAL DYNAMICS   ATALANT GA1999-2000

CONSTRUCTION MANAGER

Managed the day to day new construction for Metricom ISM build out. [Fore father for DAS] managed the day to day construction active for 289 NEW cell sites in the Atlanta area along with additional 278 cell site in the Washington DC area. Hired all General Dynamic construction supervisor a long with the selection of all general contractor for constructions and A&E contractors, tracked the job from cradle to grave ordered all materials and permits T-1’s and power. Trained in house personal on construction standards and procedures, approved all construction changes and drawing prior to build hired my office staff. Approved on closeout package prior to submitting to are client. Held construction calls with client and GD, attended site acquisitions site by site meeting. Directed are PC on updating with accurate data form the field to the tracker and approved the up loads and change to the master tracker.
