Sr. Communications Engineer

 

San Francisco Municipal Transportation Agency, San Francisco CA

Responsible for the design of the Fiber Broadband Network (FBN) for the Integrated Systems Replacement (ISR) Project and SCADA system for the Central Subway Project (CSP) of the San Francisco Municipal Transportation Agency (SFMTA).

·         Led the design for the Fiber Broadband Network integration project using a high-level Ethernet-based fiber transmission system.

·         Network integration includes Facilities SCADA System, Public Address System, Platform Display Sign System, Emergency Blue-Light Telephone System, CCTV and Enterprise Network.

·         Prepared technical specifications and contract drawings in accordance with the design criteria.

·         Prepared Quantity Take-Offs (QTO’s) for all design projects. 

·         Prepared Cable Plans, Cable Schedules and Percent-Fill Calculations for conduits and cable trays.

·         Prepared equipment room layout, cable raceway and enclosure layout.
