I currently work as a part time consultant and technician for Central Station testing and installing electronic telecommunication equipment and hardware.

·         My duties range from  terminating UTP and shielded Cat 5, 5e and 6, RG6/9 coaxial, single mode fiber LC/SC, installing wireless access point, routers, hubs, running patch cords, T1 demarcations,  cable pair qualifying,  network troubleshooting and 24x7 service call-out.

·         I was a cable splicer splicing PIC (Poly) and Pulp (Lead) cable, 25 pair to 3600 pair Clock to Block, cable locating, cable pressurization and cable troubleshooting and cable locates.

·         Spliced single and multimode fiber with Sumitomo, Fluke and Fujikura fusion machines, installed fiber in MDU’s, OTDR testing, 24x7 fiber recovery call-out.

·         Built Token Ring loops, back-up fiber loop, T1 install, Central Office OC3-OC12-OC48 Terminations, Cross connects and Testing.

·         Central Office racking, cabling, lacing and Power terminations (CO Battery), power cords, power outlets, Air Dryer and compressor rewire from 220v to 110

·         T1 to Cell Site build test and install.

·         Manhole testing & splicing
